Very bright and well made
I got these for my home made trailer and tested everything before I am going to install permanently. These worked great and are very bright. It would be awesome if there was a piece of paper or printed on the box what the wire colors are. Even though, you can take apart and see which wires go to which light. It is very useful to indicate function of the wire color. The ad for the product shows that the red wire is for the brake/turn and the black is for running lights. These are also made to be welded on. If you want to bolt them, you will need to figure out whee to put the holes. IMO this is good because everyones mounting situation will be different and I would rather make my own holes where I need making it more water proof overall. BTW, my buddy came over while I was testing and also liked these lights so much he is getting a set to weld to his tow truck or flatbed.

Bring your own mounting hardware
The lights seem to be well made so to last in the weather. As it is sealed all the way around except the hole for wires. Easy to install but zero hardware other than 2 tiny screws and nuts to add license plate light. The last pic in how I cut the mounting bracket out of old leds and two holes in the box lining up bolt holes. They are plenty bright

Ok, so the lights are bright, Easy to wire up. However, the boxes do no com predrilled for mounting. So, you have to disassemble the entire light, then drill the holes. in order to get to a flush mounting point. It does come with the hardware to mount the license plate light.

heavy duty
Comes with everything and is pretty heavy duty. The lights seem a bit flimsy but otherwise once installed in the box it works well.

HEAVY DUTY boxes
the boxes that make up the casing for these trailer lights seem to be heavy duty which is a big plus for me. that is usually the part that gives way first . the kit did not come with instructions but my husband has changed out the trailer lights on our utility trailer at least once a year since 1995 so he said installing them was easy . We are hoping these last longer than a year so I will update when and if they fail. overall we are happy with them.

Not universal unless you drill, but they are solid and bright
Just got them installed on my old home-built trailer. The lights are pressed into the case with a rubber gasket that seems robust to me. The case itself is powder coated and looks good too. There are no holes for easy mounting in different applications, so plan ahead. Measure twice, drill once. I will share my approach in case it benefits someone else.Mounted to the fender bracket I just added to the trailer using two bolts. Punch the surface where you want to drill and start small. The steel is pretty thick, so you'll need good metal drill bits. Once in I routed the trailer wires through the hole on the inside of the housing it made me question whether I should have purchased a rubber grommet to keep the hole plugged. There is a photo of the wiring I used. Because I mounted to light housing to the fender bracket using the existing bolts, I took some of my own wire and added 12" wrapped around an interior bolt for the ground (white wires from tail and side lights). I ended up cutting off the terminals from the ground wires, but wish I could figure a way to have used them. On the passener side the green wire went to the reds and the brown to the blacks (as shown). Unless you have a good ground, the lights won't work. Because everything is tucked inside and should be safe, I just used interior cable twist connectors; it should be OK.Lights are so much brighter than the old round lights from 1980s. As long as you know there will be some work involved to find your specific mounting solution, these are nice, solid lights.

Well made but the material is thin
I received these and right away I noticed the they looked thin. I have used these LED Trailer boxes before from a different vendor and they worked out well. I put some more weld on them because I don't trust the 5 little spot welds that they put on these. After that, I weld them on and a little wiring and they work great. I will do the same to these, especially since they have a thinner material. This pair measures out at .055" where my last set was at .080". That's a substantial difference.
