This book is well written, easy to understand, terrific instructions and so many ideas for healthy recipes. Great cookbook for health conscious cook.

Great cookbook
I tried my first recipe although it didn't turn out as expected, all the ingredients were all in my pantry. Easy to find ingredients nothing too fancy or hard to find. The directions were clear and easy to follow. It seems her recipes are health conscious with low sodium but you can add more sodium without destroying the dish.

I was watching a new show, The Good Dish. Laila Ali was the guest Chef. After watching the show I immediately googled Chef Ali to find she had a book for healthier meals. I'm so happy and pleased that I purchased her book. Every recipe that I’ve followed has turned out delicious. I also bought her spices, but as of yet, have not used them. But looking forward in making more of her recipes using her spices.

Scrumptious recipes!
I love this cookbook! Laila’s Louisiana heritage shows through in a delightful way. I saw her Jumbalaya recipe in a newspaper and tried it. It was wonderful! I then bought her book. Her Gumbo was great. It was my first time to make a rue and it worked fine. I love her brown rice recipe. It turned out perfectly. Her spice mixes are handy and compliment her recipes along with everyday fare you may fix. I love that she puts nutrition at the forefront of what she does. You do not have to sacrifice deliciousness with her recipes just because they are nutritious. Her tips on nutrition are of great value. If you enjoy cooking and yummy results you will enjoy this book.

I purchased this on Kindle and love it! It gives you healthy options for all your favorite foods. I also use her seasoning and have the tell you she really put a lot into Both. This book is easy to follow and highly recommended if you dont want to give up your favorite food from spaghetti to lamb chops she gives you a healthier way to cook it for you and your family

Excellent Book!
So far I have only made the Cinnamon Carrot Maca Muffins but they are a hit with the whole family and one of my friends. I have almost every page flagged to try the recipes.Originally I had the eBook version of this, once I ate those muffins I knew I had to have the physical copy!!Shipping was fast and the book arrived in excellent condition.

Many Ingrediemts I Can't Purchase Locally
It is a beautiful cookbook, however the recipes require many ingrediemts that I cannot find in my small town grocery store. The seller kindly allowed me to return this cookbook.

Healthy recipes using healthy ingredients. Lots of tips and information. Has alternative ingredients for recipes. I enjoyed the soup recipes.
