Domain Cycling Schrader Valve Cap (40 Pack) – Multi-Color Aluminum Schrader Bicycle Bike Tire Caps – No Tools Required

Well, I was excited to get these so that I can add some subtle style to my many vehicles. Each car/truck had a different color, cool idea. However, THEY CORRODE the valve stems, and the caps, if left on long enough, will destroy the valve stem, and even worse, you CANNOT get these off without ruining the tire seal around the stem, which is a very costly repair. What I thought was a cool idea, turned out to be an absolute nightmare on every vehicle. IT's a damn good thing I never needed to remove a cap for air while on the road, because that wouldn't have happened. Use at your own peril.

Good luck getting these off ever again. I thought they looked like decent quality, so with. Put them on both my truck and the wife's car. No less than a month later, I had to top off on of my tires and found the cap was nearly welded to the valve. No joke, I had to Dremel it off. Checked the others and had the same result. Fast forward to to 6 or so months later, and my wife told me she has a tire that's low but couldn't get the cap off to check it.... After a few tries with vice grips and an assortment of pliers. I totally destroyed one valve and got only two off. Had to pay for two new valve stems.

These have been awesome to add a little accent color to the bike. Probably wouldn't recommend these for cars or motorized vehicles, too much heat from the wheel will probably cause the material to melt together on the stems. But for bikes it's worked fine. I put a wee bit of grease on the stem treads so it wouldn't seize. Got enough colors for me and my husbands mtbs.

I only needed two valve caps, but I didn't want cheap plastic ones. I wanted something high quality. Well, these are it! The colors are true to their photo, very vibrant. They screw onto the valve with no hassle at all, and fit nice and snug. I've been riding my bike with these valves for several weeks and haven't experienced any loosening or anything. Now I just need to find a use for the other 38. ;]

I haven't installed these valve caps, but they look amazing. With 40 pcs (4 of each color) I have enough for 2 cars and my 18 Specialized Sirrus with shrader valves. (Purple for wife's car, Platinum for my car, and black for my White/Black Sirrus).These are lightweight with a 4 bands of sandpaper like grip for easy tightening and untightening. Colors include (4 of each) Black, Silver, Platinum, Purple, Dark Blue, Teal, Green, Orange, Gold, Red.

These are nice looking, and they have a good weight to them. But every time i put them on, it takes pliers on both the stem and the cap to get them off -- and this happens even when i dont tighten them all the way. Going back to plastic.

These are great Schrader tire value caps. Schrader caps are for most kids bikes. Fit well and great colors so you don't lose them when you are filling your tires. Second review: I restored 12 kids bikes this summer/fall and these are still great tire valve caps and bright with great colors. The only problem I had was with purple ones which didn't screw on but I would still give the group 5 stars.

These covers are way too long to seal. They look nice but are so long that they can not seal the valve stem. The treaded cover bottoms out on the valve stem long before the stem can be sealed against the gasket that in reality does nothing.
