God of War Kratos Leviathan Axe - Handmade With Genuine Leather Sheath, Viking Cosplay Armor, Prop, Replica, Costume Weapon

The most standout feature of this axe is its size. At a full 3' in length, it is very imposing to look at and hefty to carry. It's very solid with no rattles or hints of looseness. The handle is wood with a faux leather wrap and the axe head is metal. It's not a real weapon, but it feels like it easily could be. There are some minor imperfections in the painted areas and some exposed glue around the head, but nothing outrageous for a decorative weapon in the price range. Speaking of price, I've seen this exact axe on various sites listed at much higher prices and even some cosplay resin examples in the same price range so, next to those, this is a real bargain. The axe head features a full sheath that appears to be genuine leather and everything came well-wrapped during shipping. Most importantly to me, the item I received looks just like the item pictured on the listing and has all of the features stated in the listing. It may not be a perfect replica of Kratos' axe, but if you get the item you agreed to buy, I call that a good thing.

Wow this axe is impressive. The first thing I noticed is how well packaged it is. It is completely wrapped up. Next I noticed how heavy it is. It is made of wood and steel. There is also great attention to detail. This thing looks amazing. I'm going to display mine on the wall. This guy would look great with your costume at a renaissance faire as well. In fact if you wanted to get something like this at the faire, I would bet it goes for at least 4 times as much. I would not try chopping anything with this, I'm sure it could damage it and why would anyone do that. Overall I am very impressed with this axe and would get other items from this company and create a complete Armory! Notes: - Comes Extremely well packaged. They took a lot of care wrapping this ax up. - Nice and heavy both the handle and axe head are heavy and well made. - Great attention to detail, will look great displayed or with a costume - The handle is solid wood and the axe head is solid metal - Comes with an axe head cover that snaps on.

I have been playing God of War since the first video game came out in 2005 so when I came across this axe from the newer games, I knew I had to get it. The axe is spot on as far as detail is concerned in its portrayal in the video game. It is large, feels comfortable in your hand, and the craftsmanship is great for being a handmade axe. I really like the curvature of the blade itself as it is very unique. In addition, the axe sheath fits the blade perfectly and does a great job to ensure your axe head is covered in its entirety. The only small issue I have had with the axe is that the axe's head is a bit loose. This is most likely from the wedge not creating a tight enough fit when hammered in. I will have to find a way to tighten the axe head before hanging up to display. Otherwise, it is an accident waiting to happen! Overall, I am very satisfied with this axe. It is large, well made, and is spot on with its detail. At its price point, I feel it is a very affordable option and I would go so far as to say it is a steal to get your hands on some GOW merch! I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a GOW prop or wall decor!

This is a great Axe for use as a prop, costume accessory or just to hand on the wall. It is a solid wood handle and the surrounding bits at the top and bottom are metal and feel sturdy and have great detail. The Axe Head itself it also metal, and while it has an edge, it is not sharp, but it looks like it could take an edge and be used for chopping... things. The detail on the head, are also well done and intricate and the whole thing is very display worthy. My only issue with this Axe is that the wrap on the handle feels kind of like it was hurried a little. It feels like smooth leather, but looks like tape, and it has gaps between the windings on the handle. When I grip the Axe, with my hand on the tape, it slides under my grip, making me feel like I might lose my grip on it since the Axe is fairly heavy. The tape issue is most definitely not a deal breaker, as the Axe as a whole is impressive, and I am extremely happy to have it in my collection of Geek Stuff. Thank you to whoever made my Axe, I love it!

Leather work looks good. The axe is impressive from a distance. It mostly starts to fall apart after that. The blade is 1/8" steel so this is well into the realm of prop only territory so we'll keep along that path. The blade has glossy and flat spots which leads me to believe the metal wasn't cleaned properly. The blade has a 1" long bevel to the blade but you can't see it under all the black paint. Cast pieces sandwich the top of the blade are floating up to a quarter inch off the shaft at the bottom. The paint on them isn't great and needs touched up in several places. I suspect under the round gold button that is on crooked there's a bolt holding the whole thing together. The wedge at the top is glued into place. The handle itself is painted brown instead of stained but it was painted before they attached the blade and never bothered to repaint the cut end or the wedge. Overall its a cool prop but you get what you pay for.
