Excalibur Dehydrator Clear Door Upgrade for 5 Tray Dehydrators Fits 2500, 3500, 3526, D500

The door on my D500 broke during shipping so I ordered this replacement... Very nice product, came unassembled with protective wrap on the clear plastic. With Prime shipping just under $22 and on my doorstep in 2 days! This door is more for aesthetics. It is impossible to see the food without pulling out the trays...I wish it was a little more durable as well. All in all, a good product.

I wish this came with the dehydrator. Interesting to be able to look in on your jerky or other projects. Would help to have a light in the dehydrator for such purposes (but has nothing to do with this additional product).

The Clear See-Through door is great. It allows you to peer into the dehydrator to see the progress of the items. A definite upgrade to the original black door.

Ordered twice and both times arrived without any handles, not as pictured just the door with four holes. For a food dehydrator that is not acceptable!

I love the clear door for my Excalibur 3500 Dehydrator.Not only for it's looks, but also because I can see how the dehydration process is progressing without removing the door. It was easy to attach the two handles, and in my opinion the door is made very well with high quality materials.The fit is perfect and if you’re not sure which dehydrator this door works on, the Excalibur website lists these dehydrators that the Model P06 5 tray clear door will fit: 2500, 3500, D500SHD, ED600.

:( I was so excited to get this new door and see my food dehydrating... but it doesn't fit. I have a 3500 model, and this says that it will fit onto the 3500, but it doesn't. I tried a hundred times. Is there a different door I should be ordering for this instead?
