It doesn't have a strong odor. I've been purchasing this brand for several years and have colored my dirty blonde for 30+ years after getting tired of the sun bleach blonde it gets every summer. I know color, basically they're all the basic same ingredients then companies add there own extras such as biotin etc. This brand keeps my hair in great condition, doesn't cause breakage or overly dry hair. That being said, I also don't do my ends every time, over process etc., and I regularly condition my hair. I also maintain the color. People complain about the color fading, unfortunately colored hair no matter the color requires maintenance, its just a fact and no fault of this brand. If you want to color your hair for whatever reason; it WILL require maintenance. If you don't want the hassle don't color it! People need to have realistic expectations and understand hair color is not a one and done. Everything, everyday life affects the outcome of how long your color will last and the shade outcome. This particular shade will eventually lose its a ash color turning a bit more golden/beige blonde due to washing my hair being out in the sun etc. even using a sulfate free shampoo so I, as anyone should maintain the beautiful color with a toner for maintaining that ash blonde color. Also, be aware not only do you have to do regular maintenance you also have to be aware: 1. Everyone's hair is different (same molecular structure) but different everyday factors, past treatments, environmental and personal care as well as texture. As such, 2. Not everyone will get the exact shade "as seen" in the pictures. Dark hair vs. a lighter hair to start out with and your processing now and prior, computer screens displaying colors slightly different etc. Don't expect your results to be exactly the same, especially if you're not familiar with this shade and/or color processing. So, yes I highly recommend this brand, especially if you have older, grey or silver cover up needs! Just be realistic in your particular outcome and that colored hair requires maintenance and you will like this hair color brand! Review: Actually Covers All Stubborn Gray, Doesn’t Pull Red! - I mixed 6A and 5NN together, hoping for the sweet spot of completely cool undertones and full gray coverage, and it achieved both! No previous box/kit has been able to do this, and I’ve been exhausted by “cool” and “ash” brunette colors that inexplicably pull red and/or leave grays unpigmented. While this combo did come out darker than my ideal light-medium ultra cool ash brown, I had anticipated as much (per the product notes), and next time will experiment with the just #6 browns. My hair is very long (2 inches below my waist) so I used both full tubes and 4oz of the branded 20v developer. I processed for 45 mins on 2nd day clean hair with no post-shampoo/conditioner product. Definitely don’t use this on a freshly cleaned scalp or you’ll get itchy/stingy as this is an ammonia based product. The ammonia vapors are very strong at first, so be prepared—it’s not a lightweight DIY color. (Natural/ammonia free dyes have failed to cover my grays no matter the brand or formula.) I will say that despite the formulation, I didn’t find it to be conditioning, which I mention for anyone who factors that in. HOWEVER, it’s a non-factor for me; I have numerous beloved conditioning products to do that job. All I want out of hair color is total gray coverage and true-tone pigment payoff, and this delivers both in spades. I’m glad I finally found a product that does what I need, and will be exclusively using this brand from now on.

Excellent gray coverage and easy application
I recently purchased the AGE beautiful Liqui-Crème Hair Color in black, and I have to say I am very impressed with the results. As someone who has been coloring my hair for years, I’ve tried a wide variety of products, and this one definitely stands out in terms of coverage and ease of use. The texture of the formula is smooth and easy to apply, and it spreads evenly through the hair without dripping or creating a mess. I left it on for about 30 minutes, and it covered every single gray strand perfectly. The color turned out rich, deep, and natural-looking. Exactly the shade of black I wanted. Another big plus is that it didn’t stain my skin much. I had very minimal marks around the hairline, which washed off easily. The hair felt soft and shiny afterward, not dry or damaged, which is something I really appreciate in a permanent hair color. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a developer (peroxide), which I didn’t realize at first. You have to purchase that separately, so keep that in mind when ordering. Other than that, it’s an excellent, salon-quality product that delivers professional results at home. Highly recommended!

Wonderful coverage and soft hair
First off yes, you do need to purchase developer separately. It states very clearly in large enough size print that developer is needed and not included. That being said this is an excellent product. I was looking for a brown with some plum color. My hair is dark brown with red and blond highlights and some grays. While my initial intent didn't concern the gray I was happy in the end with the fact that my grays were covered. My hair looks fantastic. It looks dark brown in certain lighting but in florescent and outside lighting it looks plum brown which was the point. I'm happy with my purchase and this is the dye I will be buying from now on.

Why sell something that you can’t use whithout the other bit! Who sells developer separate to hair color! Seriously. Talk about making life difficult ….

Ive been dying my hair for 30 years noth at home/salon. The older you get the harder it is to cover grey hair + the frequency gets shorter + shorter between dyes. Discovering Age Beautiful Hair Dye has been fantastic. OMG!! Permanent Hair Colour that stays its rich deep colour + doesnt wash out down the drain. doesn't start to fade after 1 week + lasts (me - might be different for ea user) 4-5 weeks depending on how much regrowth you are ok with. I have mid-long hair + got x3 "dyes" from 2 tubes. just ordered 3 more tunes. THE BEST DIY Hair Dye EVER. Thank You xx
