Many ideas on differentiation using menus with structure. Kids should have experience with activities or teacher must structure properly. Remember if you have 9 different activities going on at once, and kids have not been exposed to those, you will be faced with lots of questions.You can modify to fit your needs. Minimize choices to get feel for kaos it will bring. Remember chaos not always a bad thing. The ideas here rather than go full menu to start. Better for veteran teachers I think but can be helpful to any high will/skill teacher. I do like what I see and have begun to implement ideas. Helpful for sure. I recommend it.

I used at the end of the school year

I incorporated the menu ideas at the end of the school year for a MN social studies project. Each child choose what they wanted to based off the menus I provided. One child preformed a rap, one made a game, several made posters, some power points, others colleagues. So it was great for student choice and they choose what their strengths were and showcased that.

I teach middle school (world civ and US hist) and this is very generic, I expected to find more tailored rubrics.

Lots of American history

There is not much for sixth grade in here (Ancient Civilizations). There is mostly American history which is great for eighth and high school teachers.
