I ordered both the metal hot shoe cover, as well as the package of 3 plastic ones. This was for my Sony A99ii (I'm an A-mount nut) and the metal one fits nice and tight on it. The reason for this order was that the original (plastic) one that came with the camera got lost on a trip when I urgently grabbed the camera from my bag for a quick shot. So I wanted one that was a bit more tight than the original, and the metal one does exactly that. The plastic ones certainly are a good fit as well and stay in place quite fine under normal circumstances. So I will keep them as backup for when I lose the metal one.

I bought the single metal one which was the same price as the 3 pack, but I think those ones are plastic.It fits my Sony A6000 perfectly, I can't stress enough how good a fit this is, there is no way it's coming out unless I take it out, and it feels smooth against the top of the camera (it's perfectly level to the body).The colour also matches perfectly, it looks and feels like it's always been there lol.Look no further!

This inexpensive shoe cover increases water resistance for your camera. In the UK it is no brainer.

May seem like a bit of an irrelevance, but keeping electrical contacts free of dust and debris is important. These do the job perfectly for very little money.

Got as I lost my original hot shoe cover for my camera and very impressed with these replacements. They fit my camera nicely and work well, worth getting another two spare just incase.Delivery was quick too.

Arrived quickly and I bought these in a 3 pack because some reviews in a similar product in a single pack said they were a bit loose. Well the first one I tried fitted nice and snug and to me you would need to deliberately try to remove it. As someone else reviewed; it may be a shade less black than the camera but not an issue. Tbh Sony should be including these with the camera but in the absence of that these seem to provide good protection.
