Expert Weld XWH4 9-13 Shades Racer Auto Darkening Welding Helmet Plus Grind Function

I bought this helmet nine months ago and have just got around to testing it for the first time. The lens darkens in response to bright light, but then lightens immediately. I've adjusted all of the dials ad nauseam, replaced the battery, and even left the helmet in the sun for a few days in case it needs solar charging. No change. Too late to return to the seller, but I contacted the manufacturer two weeks ago and have received no reply. In my case, this was a complete waste of money.

Seems to work okay. poor quality manufacturing, lense securing clip was broken during manufacture, a replacement was sent & received quickly, however this was damaged in exactly the same way! I am using the mask as it is & putting the experience down to you get what you pay for. Mask itself fits my big head, has good adjustment & is quite compact. comes with spare lense protectors & a storage cover/bag.

How do they do it? why pay £100 for one that does nothing better. Well made , every function and finish of much more expensive hats.
