I'll Never Feed my Goldies Any Brand but Saki Hikari Again!
Love it! I had heard that this was the best goldfish food out there, and I really adore my water babies, so I invested in a bag. It is a bit more expensive than the little containers of fish food at the pet stores, but the bag is MUCH larger and the quality is so much greater. My goldfish have both grown since I started them on Saki Hikari. They are Black Moor goldfish, and their black has become deeper...my boy who had a couple of orange spots on him is now full black again. I soak the pellets in a little bit of tank water for maybe a minute before feeding, which makes them sink right to the bottom for my fish to gobble up. I've had this bag for a few months now and there is still so much more left...this was a great investment, both financially and in the health and happiness of my fish. So worthwhile; I will never feed my goldies any brand but Saki Hikari again!

Pricey but worth it.
I feed primarily Saki-Hikari to my Comet. In the three months that I've been feeding Saki-Hikari, the fish has grown from about 1" long to about 4" long. I pre-soak pellets for 1 minute in tank water, 10 at a time, to prevent bloating. I don't know that this is necessary with the Saki-Hikari as the pellets do not appear to swell. I would just rather be safe than sorry. Pros: 1) the fish loves it; 2) the pellets are small enough to feed to small fish or to fish whose gills have been compromised by parasites; 3) the pellets sink and hold together well. In the rare event that there's leftover food, it's easy to clean up. Cons: 1) it's a little expensive (but well worth it IMHO); 2) odor - what do you expect? It smells like fish food. I'll be buying more. I'm halfway through a 7 oz. bag.

Great Goldfish Food!
I have fed this to my ornamental goldfish for several years. My fish get quite large, have great color and are extremely healthy on this food. I wouldn't feed anything but this food.

My Oranda's and Orange moor really seem satisfied :)
The oranda's and black moor enjoy their pellets, No more bloating for the Orange moor goldfish and seems to help their color. They seem more satisfied and don't act like their starving all the time.. With their veggies and this pellet food and a treat now and then works well for them, Will buy this product again. My only wish is to have an option for larger size pellets but other than that, its perfect., Thank you

Greasy?
No doubt Hikari is the best goldfish/koi diet out there but this left my water greasy after every feed even with underfeeding. Went back to Gold.

Wow! Vibrant colors and growth!
I am new to keeping fancy goldfish. I read good things about the Hikari line of fish food, so I decided to try it. I have red cap orandas, calico ryukins and a few 'mixed breeds'. I started feeding my fish with the Hikari Saki Goldfish and the Hikari Lion Head a couple of weeks ago. The growth in my orandas and the VIBRANT colors of my calico ryukins is unbelievable! I thought that maybe my new trickle sump filter was working really good and the water was much clearer so I could see the fish better. NO, my daughter looked and said, WOW!!! The Hikari line of fish food really does what it says. This stuff is amazing and the only food, besides live food and veges, I will be feeding my fancy goldfish from now on! Give it a try. You will see the difference in just a few weeks. I know it is a little pricey, but worth every penny.

Fantastic sinking pellets for small goldfish (>=3cm)
I was using pet store food(made of corn) until this arrived. WOW. What a difference! The fish LOVE this food, and they can seem to smell it from across the pond as soon as it touches the water. The small pellets sink relatively quickly, but none of them reached the bottom--the fish just gobbled them all down. The package is labeled for goldflish "at least 3 cm long"... and that sounds about right. They are tiny, but they still work for my fish who are 1-2 inches long. Plus, you can't beat the ingredients (color enhancers, pro-biotics, spirulina...) Highly recommended product.

Finest goldfish food available.
This has to be the finest goldfish food available. I have used many kinds of goldfish food, before discovering Hikari. They are definitely the most advanced fish food company. I started out a common goldfish on Hikari Goldfish Staple and Mini Algae Wafers. He gained a lot of size and weight. Then I read about this. I just purchased my second bag of this because the first worked better than anything I have used before. My fish grew about four inches in 3-4 months. His colors are amazing. And he is very active again. Also, the tank stays clean a lot longer. There has not been any clouding since I began this diet. I just purchased my second bag to start out a young goldfish. I know it is going to work very well. This is going to be great. I am very excited. The only thing I would like to see different from this goldfish food is I would like to see a floating version.

awesome product , gold fish loves them , this is a very good product for the gold fish ,especially the sinking quality , as it reduces the risk of bladder problems in fish , as if you have floating food , gold fish will intake the food with air and cause the bladder problems and the swimming problems

My goldfish love the Hikari brand foods - but they aren't exactly picky eaters either. Great product, lasts a long time for me.
