Lift Safety HDBP-21FB DAX Full Brim Guard

Fits great but takes some time to break in especially when it’s cold outside. Keeps head much warmer than my plastic hard hats. I suggest buying the rim protector to keep the edges safe from chipping.

Exactly what I was looking for in protecting my hardhat brim. This guard was easily installed and has stayed on without an issue. Very functional product that is proving to be durable.

I should have cleaned the brim better before applying because it’s not perfectly glued on.. but still sticking in place great after a month in the SoCal summer.

A must have with a lift hat, unless you want the rim chipped. The tape does come up a little, just don’t mess with it.

The edge protector for the hard Lyft hard hats was easy to install and improves the look and durability of the hard hat. Should come from the factory on the hard had but I dont see that as an option anywhere. Must have

My best review overall is upsetting! I'm very upset that this protective edge is not included as a factory feature on a VERY expensive hat. You spend well over $100 dollars for a hat with a very thin laminated carbon/fiberglass edge that is prone to deamination. Sold to people in ruged environments, then make them pay extra for 50c worth of rubber. Yes it fit perfect with some trimming. But, I purchased the hat and found out how fragile it was in the field. Lift, just put this on all new hats. Not doing so is petty.

Purchased to protect the carbon fiber lip on a Lift hard hat. Installation was easy, but started to come off on one of the corners. I cleaned it with alcohol and added a dab of construction adhesive into the channel and re-applied- problem solved. They use double sided adhesive tape, but the surface may have not been clean when I originally applied it. Overall, it does as advertised and protects the outer lip from being chipped.
