Great flashlight, but.....
When you receive this flashlight the black screw you need to tighten (see photo) is already loose, so all you need to do is unscrew the flashlight top, insert the batteries, put the top back on & screw the black screw down to hold the cap in place. I'm writing this because I assumed the black screw was tight when it arrived & tried loosening it and almost stripped it.

Good small flashlight
Good light as advertised. Bright enough and compact. Easy to carry in your pocket.

Great light for kids
I got 2 of these lights for my kids 3 and 6. It’s great because it’s not super bright so while the road to finally teaching them not to shine it in people’s faces is a long one it’s not so bad. They love the color too and it makes it easy to find. I just wish they had more color options since one loves green and one loves blue. It’s well made and I like that it also has a set screw you have to loosen in order to remove the battery and it’s solid and secure when tightened. Feels like it will last a long time.

Flickering is an issue
It started shorting out less than a month of use. Still have it but don’t use it anymore since it doesn’t work right. Flickers a lot. Wouldn’t buy this brand again.

Fail
The beam isn't great, but I guess about what you should expect from a cheap flashlight. It's not very smooth, but rather has a somewhat sloppy double-edged spot light. The color is also not great, with a slight greenish tint and a poor rendering index (doesn't illuminate all colors evenly, in this case reds and blues look pale). So it's about average quality for a cheap flashlight, but I would have given it 4 stars for the supposed safe watertight design. But the flashlight arrived with cracks in the head (3 of them meeting in one spot). At first I hoped it was just the visual imperfection you sometimes get from molded plastic, but that looks more swirly and the surface is usually smooth. These are a little more jagged and I can feel them with my fingernail.Normally I would just dismiss this as accidental damage, but this is supposed to be a safety-rated flashlight which can survive some rough treatment without cracking. Did it leave an apathetic factory like this? Could it not handle being shipped, in a retail package inside a padded envelope, by Fedex? Seems kind of lame either way, considering it's claimed to be safe to use in locations where a leaking flashlight could kill someone.
