Much better than the cheaper 'screw required' version.
This review is for 'Premium Recessed Light Retrofit C-Clips for Downlight'. I am a DIY homeowner and received no compensation for this review. I had previously purchased/used the cheaper C-clips from Amazon and for me, it was very hard to install the screw. Maybe my cans are extra tough. but I used a punch (didn't even dent it), a 90 degree drill attachment, new drill bit, cordless driver. It was an awkward angle, and just had an awful hard time getting the screw in. These premium clips that don't need a screw are so much better!I had to move them around the perimeter of the can to find a good spot, but it only took a minute and they work great, definitely worth the extra cost over the cheap screw required version.

Save time and frustration with these well-designed clips!
I've had a long-standing problem with cheap can lights; whenever an LED needs to be replaced, one of the factory clips always seems to break. Then it's a harrowing session of trying to tap a screw and use some of the other replacements. These slide on and clip into place. They can then be supported with a screw, but I haven't found this necessary as the LED lights are lightweight. I love these things so much, but I bought an extra set just in case they sell out.

Work but are thin
These work fine but are notably thin compared to other brands I’ve used. In fact so thin then cut into your fingers trying to push on. Had to end up using something other than a finger/thumb to slide on. Thumbs still hurt wiring this review. So far they haven’t fallen.

Love these!
I bought LED lights to replace the old recessed lights and I was disappointed to see there were no c clips in the canisters. The company I bought the LED lights from were nice enough to send the clips but I was not looking forward to what I knew would be a lot harder job then the videos make it look. I decided to get these while waiting for the clips to get here from the light company. I wanted to see if I could maybe use adhesive instead of screws. I just got these and realized I could just CLIP them between the dry wall and the canister! Took 2 seconds and BAM the light was on the ceiling and flush!!

Old House Miracle
Did you have the audacity to remodel your kitchen in your 90 year old house and think “Ah yes, retrofit LEDs will be great in these old cans!” only to discover that those old cans don’t have slots for torsion springs? Did you then conduct a series of failed experiments to try and get them to fit anyway? Is your Wife angry at you because nothing is seeming to work? These are the answer to all your problems. Well. Maybe not all, but certainly the problem of Old Cans. No need to drill holes or anything either as they just slide right into place along the bottom of the can and then all of the sudden… at least the Problem of the Lights is solved!

Makes upgrading lights easier
I used these to upgrade nine twenty-year-old recessed lights that had no C clips. The process of installing them was easy and they are very strong. Figuring out placement so that they are opposite each other can be tricky, especially because my recessed cans have a lot of obstacles to get around but once I got the hang of it, the process went quickly. I did not need to screw them in, they attach tightly to the side of the cans and the retrofit LEDs clip easily and securely to them. I recommend the product.

Did not work as intended
New ceiling led conversion lights still did not clip in place with these so that that lights would be flush with the cans.
