I thought this was going to be a fast, easy way to transfer old film. I have over 100 rolls and was only able to get through 4 of them before I gave up. The films play fine on a projector so I know the issue is not the film. I would spend time adjusting the frames so they show properly and not have the holes showing but as the film ran through it would suddenly be showing the holes again so I would have to stop and readjust it again. This means I would then have to run each of the small clips through video software to put them back together and also each time you stop and start the machine counts it as a roll of film so between doing that, having the film jam up or just stop for no reason, 1 roll of film ends up being counted as 15+ rolls towards the 200 limit for warranty!The machine makes a lot of noise and it takes at minimum 40 minutes to transfer 4 minutes of footage. Once you finally get through all of the hassle you cannot just rewind, you need to switch the reels. The film also does not rewind firmly, it is very loose. I ended up returning this machine and just playing each reel on a projector while recording with my camera. This saved me so much time and frustration!

I gave this product 5 stars because my expectations were based on my studying the product before purchase. It is not a product that gives you a professional result but if you want to record your old home movies to see your family memories, it does a nice job. There are a few tricks that I learned by watching you tube videos. I have copied 50 videos with few problems. I am very satisfied with the product. The product is a little pricey but if you have a large number of films to record it is much cheaper than using a service.

I found my1970's movies in my barn. Not knowing which ones would be good to see, I didn't want to just ship them all off to be copied. This machine takes some getting used to for a novice like me, but I have sort of made it work so far. The 32GB memory card was open and previously used, with some files I had to delete. So far I have just successfully copied and viewed 2 movies. Wonderful memories have now been preserved, and I look forward to more.

This product was a great birthday gift for my dad who had all these super 8 films but no way to view them. Excellent because it comes with a 32gb memory card so we can transfer to DVD.

I have loved this machine! It has worked great and is so easy to use! I like that I can see the video as it transfers it. It does take awhile to digitize, but from what I understand it is going to take time on any machine. I am very pleased with the quality of videos I have been able to get.

This system so far has worked really well... I’ve recorded over 200 reels of film...it would be nice if there was an option to transfer next the larger reels.

Bad expirience. Works only for one rell then it gets impossible to use.

Easy to use. Exactly what I was hoping for!
