I’ve been using these scissors for 5 months, and being able to cut my own hair has been a huge freedom. Thanks to this pair, I can trim my ends and do small adjustments at home without needing to visit a salon. For the price, the performance is way better than I expected — but the scissors do have a few sensitive points. Cutting Performance: • The blades are very sharp; no snagging, and they cut the ends extremely clean. • The 6” size is ideal for home users and easy to control. • Well-balanced and doesn’t tire the hand. • The tension screw stays stable and doesn’t loosen on its own. Pros: • Easily competes with more expensive barber scissors. Great “beginner-level professional feel” for at-home cuts. • Lightweight, ergonomic, and comfortable even during longer use. • Excellent price/performance ratio. Cons: • A bit delicate — try not to drop them, as they’re sensitive. • Biggest downside: they don’t like moisture. I kept mine in the bathroom and noticed slight rusting. • Works best when you cut hair in smaller sections instead of taking thick chunks at once. Extra tips: • Don’t, like my wife on her first haircut attempt, try to cut all your hair at once and end up crying. • And don’t, like my cat, use them to scratch yourself instead of cutting hair. Summary: Performance-wise, these scissors are genuinely impressive and perfect for anyone cutting their hair at home. You just need to care for them properly. Don’t leave them in humid areas and avoid dropping them. If you do that, the sharpness and performance last a long time. With all the pros and cons considered, I still confidently recommend them.

The only downside to these scissors is the price. I initially thought $13 was crazy for a pair of scissors, but after using them, I realized they are worth every cent. I use them for hair cutting, and they are incredibly sharp - and they’ve stayed just as sharp 3 years later. I liked them so much that I even bought a second pair for my partner. If you want quality tools that actually last, don't let the price tag scare you off!

These are sharp. Like, cut-yourself-if-you’re-not-careful sharp. I’m a beauty school dropout, and these are comparable to the professional shears we used in school—at a fraction of the price. The biggest difference between these and the shears I trained with is that these don’t have interchangeable finger-hole pads, so they’re a bit less customizable. That said, they’re still comfortable to hold and fit well in my slightly larger hands. They don’t come with a storage case, which is fine as long as you’re careful (again—very sharp). I haven’t cut myself using them, even when cutting my own hair, but my mom has cut herself every time she’s borrowed them. I’m giving these five stars because the quality for the price is excellent.

These are the best barber scissors!! I use them for cutting my kids hair, as well as my husband's. They're easy to use, easy to handle, they're comfortable, not too heavy, and they work SO well!

Take care of your hair at home for an affordable price with a professional-grade product - this cuts through smooth as butter, and the rubber rings help with grip. Light weight, easy to handle. Very nice it comes with a sharpner but haven't needed to use it yet!
