I bought this to start some marijuana seedlings- it worked great as a starter but the lid is pretty low so they quickly outgrew the short space. Otherwise it worked great.

im using this to start som strawberries, so at night I put the plants here and during the day I move them outside. For the price I wasn't expecting the light to work but it does and it's strong. however, the light doesn't fit at the top, so I put the light inside the lid and put the wire through a hole to hold the wire up. that part was kind of bad because it made the light inefficient but since looping it through it's been perfect.

Ignoring the adorably tiny garden tools, this is genuinely a good reusable seed starter. The plastic is definitely thicker than disposable kits, and the flexible tray bottoms make removing the seedling plugs a breeze. It's even vented and has a tiny grow light in the top, though you'll have to attach it to a separate timer if you intend to have proper day/night cycles. I have mine hooked up to a smart plug and scheduled through the Amazon app, for example.

I wasn't sure about getting a seed starter with a growing light, but I am glad I made this purchase. This seems to be the perfect size for building a small garden. My only issue is that there is not power switch (on/off) or a timer for the light. You have to manually keep track of the light cycle. Other than that, the little tools are adorable and perfect for my tiny garden.

Works great, concise set, and it’s well priced. There are so many small grow sets out there. This one has it all for a great price and I don’t need 6 of them! It has helped me to germinate 29 out of the 32 seeds I planted. Seeds that have poor reviews for being difficult to germinate. I didn’t think I would use the tools but the little shovel is handy for the small wells!

Did what it was supposed to do. Just need to figure out a good way to transfer them without exposing the root.
