About the Author I was born in 1970 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I grew up on a farm near Mustang, Oklahoma and remained there until adulthood. After trying several different careers, I found that law enforcement was my calling. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1996 and became a police officer that same year. Since then, I have served in several different capacities. From street patrol, drug enforcement, criminal investigations, to supervision, my career has taken many turns. Currently, I am a lieutenant for my department in the Oklahoma City metro area. I am also certified to instruct specialized training in standardized field sobriety testing and law enforcement driver training. Writing is a relatively new calling for me. From my childhood and teen years, I remember reading a number of books, watching countless movies and television shows, and saying to myself, "I could do that." In 2013, with much encouragement from my wife, I gave it a shot. The Dimidium Angelus series is the result. Currently, I continue to write on the series and have started on another. Until my retirement from law enforcement, writing will continue to be part-time. After that, the sky's the limit. Read more
