Injecting Ozone each and every day
This device works great. I use it on my home built cold plunge tup and it helps keep the water clear and clean.

A reliable aeration device if you have the flow to make it work
I have a 58 gallon dwarf african cichlid tank. I have built a fluidized bed filter using a 3 foot section of transparent PVC pipe. I have a 790 GPH Pan World NH-100PX centrifugal pump taking water from the tank, running the fluidized bed, then an AQUA in-line UV sterilizer, and finally returning to the tank, all plumbed with 3/4 inch pipe. I use crushed aragonite coral as my tank gravel and fluidized bed media because cichlids from Lake Tanganyika prefer a pH in the range of 8.4 to 9.0. I therefore have a problem getting airstones to work, probably because they soon clog from precipitation of calcium carbonate. I bought this 3/4 inch Injector Venturi Aerator because I already have 3/4 plumbed flow back into my aquarium and I thought this might give me areation without clogging or need of an air pump. So, far this has proved to be the case. I use it without an air line attached. Bubbles are abundant and after a month of use are typically very fine, less than 1/8 inch. However, if air is forced in even a little, then the bubbles are 1/16-1/4 inch in size. There is a rubber plug under the air nipple cap, with a small hole drilled in it. The cap compresses this plug and restricts the air flow, presumeably to make the bubbles finer. When air flow drops off, its easy to unscrew the cap and tap on the plug to restore air flow. This venturi areator device is slightly pricy. But it is cheaper than a typical aquarium pump and argueably will last much longer. I am not sure how strong a water flow you would need to draw air freely, as my setup does. But my pump is about as strong as a typical garden pump.

not coarse hose threads
Beware this is 3/4 inch hose size BUT not hose fittings. They are fine threaded and the company sends you to hardware store to find them

Simple and good concept.
Venturi installations can be a trick, but never go with recommended size venturi for ozone use. Especially if you need to run the Ozone unit more than 6 feet away. return piping for mine was 1 1/2" and I started with the 1/4" recommended...big mistake. Then got the 3/4" and it helps but still seems I have to choke the pump due to back pressure, so I will get the 1" for the 1 1/2" return plumbing with 3hp Pent-air variable, being set to 660w vice the normal 375w is a bit of a drag. I have 3 Gph output normal and on concentrated it nearly doubles, so more suction the better if super ozone is used.

Not quite the right size
As another reviewer noted, the outside diameter of the threaded ends of this are quite a bit larger than 3/4 inch. With a heat gun and some cussing I was able to get my 3/4 inch inner diameter hose on this, but I don't think this is the right part for this size hose. The old part that I replaced with this had thinner diameter ends which were much easier to use.UPDATE: Using 3/4 ID tubing I could not get a secure connection and it leaks, even with hose clamps and plenty more cussing. I don't think this is the right part to use unless you have adaptors on the end, I suggest either getting something else or finding the adaptors.

better than beckett or needle wheel
i use it for protein skimmer. i have used beckett and needle wheel. venturi is the best imo. not much different in power consumption

Bought this venturi to replace one on our water bottling ...
Bought this venturi to replace one on our water bottling equipment. The listing does not mention the suction port pipe thread size or type! We typically cut off the hose barb and just use the threads on the suction port which are typically 1/4" npt on the 3/4" Venturi's... This venturi has what seems to be 3/8" compression type threads on the suction port which makes it very difficult to get to 1/4" NPT. I didn't realize it till I had stripped the threads trying to put a 1/4" SS check valve on the suction port :( I give it 2 stars because the listing doesn't included all the basic information i.e. inlet, outlet, and suction port connection type... now I got a worthless hunk of plastic. Here is the one I have to order now for my application: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014JYD48W/ref=pd_sbs_86_5?ie=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B014JYD48W&pd_rd_r=QSPDG4Z1EWR1SKDERCJQ&pd_rd_w=QLsoJ&pd_rd_wg=eAB32&psc=1&refRID=QSPDG4Z1EWR1SKDERCJQSOOOOO if you need 1/4" Male NPT on the suction port dont order this one from A2Z
