Updating reviewing after owning for a few months and after a couple months of use, these stain so easily and the stains do not come out. We’ve bleached, oxy cleaned, magic erasered. I do not recommend if you have children because they will stain.

I have attempted multiple times to clean these placemats according to the instructions given. Nothing works. Finally prior to pitching them in the trash I put them through the washing machine which you are told not to do. Even that didn't clean them. If your family never drips sauce or soup or salad dressing, then these placemats are for you. They ARE very pretty.

I really like these placemats and use them on my dinner table and to protect some shelves when I try to place items that may scratch the wood. These mats are easy to store and are a lovely color.

TL; DR: great if you want decorative placemats, but incredibly difficult and annoying to clean.I’ll start by saying these table mats are beautiful, I’ve gotten numerous compliments and I loved them so much at first that I bought a second set. That said, I have two major concerns and at this point am most likely going to buy different ones:First, they are porous. I bought them to keep my glass table clean and scratch-free, but if you spill any liquid (including thick sauces) on them, it goes right through and leaves my table dirty.Second, they are impossible to clean. Sure, you can easily rinse them if they’re a little dirty, but if you spill any liquid, it stains and is a huge pain to clean. I have to leave them to soak and then scrub with a rough sponge or toothbrush to get the stains out. Also they are not dishwasher safe (I mistakenly washed one in the dishwasher and it has never regained its original shape) so that’s not an option either.

These are just as pictured and the color is kind of subtle unless you look close to see that there's 3 different colors.

I like the color, design, and lightweight material. Easy to wipe clean.

Like the colors, we use them as dog bowl mats. That being said, they are not easy to clean.

These placemats look great but they are not very heat resistant. Already our heated plates have left circular imprints on them. If you want to avoid that, use a charger underneath your warm plates.

Very pretty, just like the picture. These can be wiped off or put in the washing machine.
