Update on battery, currently on 25 % after 41 days, with normal usage. Battery is excellent!I love this watch. It may not have the high resolution screen of the Samsung or Apple watches but it delivers all the functionality you would want.The fitness tracking capability is great and the app alerts cover everything from messages to emails and app push notifications.The alerts come with a powerful vibration which is great if you have to keep your phone on silent a lot. The vibration is also a good alternative for an alarm.The battery life is the best thing about this watch, it has an average of 30 days standby with everything turned on and connected to my phone for at least 12 hours a day. I expect you could achieve the quoted 45 days if you turned some functions off, but there is no point when it runs for 30 days no problem.The companion app works well too, and you can get 3rd party apps for more watch face options.I changed the strap for a custom steel one, but there are loads of other straps on Amazon.I can't recommend this watch enough, at this price, there is nothing better.

if a activity is selected ie running. the GPS starts to work and it can drain the battery very quickly.All GPS detectors do the same. I go for a walk I set it to treadmill. this give heart rate warnings etc but does not activate GPS. Your phone can track using the phones GPS.

2 days in and so far so good. Battery seems great, screen is clear in bright sunlight, quality feels good and easy to use. TBH I expected a decent product after the miband2 and they've done it. It's like the original pebble but much nicer feel and better software.

My first smart watch was the Sony 3 and for 18 months it did everything I needed it too do very well. When it came time too upgrade I did my research and settled for the misfit vapor which is a lovely watch but has awful battery life not even a day. I stumbled across the bip on an article in my Google feed and was drawn to the 45 day battery promise I looked on Amazon and the availability was dropping fast so for 79 buns I thought sod it.It's lightweight it's cheap it's unheard of and it's awesome. Small screen that tells the time fewer options that most other smart watches out there but they are all missing the point this thing has blown me away. The mi fit app is a pleasure too use and unlike Google fit it does not think I'm on a bike ride while driving. It's accurately monitors sleep and pulse and after 3 days solid use with all notifications running ( WhatsApp, email,SMS) it still has 90% battery left. This thing should have every other smart watch manufacturer in a pannic I'm yet to find a fault with it.Take a chance on this watch you will not be disappointed

This would be great, except that to use the smart phone app you have to sign up to their cloud platform and give them all your health data. This is especially concerning given the integration with Apple Health - do you really want the app authors to get all your health data? There's no legitimate reason why the cloud platform should be mandatory.The privacy policy is exclusively published in Chinese - across 4 separate documents - and consent boxes are pre-checked. Who knows what it says, but it's probably something like "We can access and keep all your data and sell it or give it away to any carefully selected partner that we choose. We love you and do everything we can to protect you. We will use your data to make the world a better place, but not necessarily just for that."

This was a Xmas present for my son who does a lot of long distance running. He is not happy and I have requested a refund. The step count and mileage are completely inaccurate and the GPS does not work. No response from seller yet either!

Ich habe die Uhr jetzt seit einem Monat in Gebrauch und bin einfach nur begeistert. Die Funktionen sind super und der Akku hält auch bei regelmäßiger Benutzung des GPS sehr lange.Da ich die Uhr als GPS-Geologger (für Fotos) nutze, benötigte ich allerdings ein Zusatzprogramm, um die aufgezeichneten Daten auslesen und weiterverarbeiten zu können. Das bietet die Mi-App leider nicht an.Bisher super Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis!

Il connubio perfetto tra fitnessband e sportwatch. Comodo, pratico, leggibile in ogni situazione, reattivo, leggero, con GPS integrato, e cinturino intercambiabile. E con una batteria praticamente infinita se paragonata ai concorrenti di altri brand. Questo è l’Amazfit Bip, uno degli ultimi prodotti di Huami, che sotto l’ala protettrice di Xiaomi, sta sfornando prodotti sempre più interessanti.CONFEZIONE. Aprendo la confezione, molto minimal, troviamo subito il Bip, mentre nella scatola sottostante, un piccolo manuale in lingua inglese/cinese e l’alimentatore. Vorrei spendere due parole in favore di quest’ultimo, che si è rivelato molto stabile grazie ai piedini inferiori, e di buona costruzione seppur in plastica. Unico neo, il cavo saldato al dock dove l’orologio deve essere incastrato. Apprezzabile l’inserto inferiore dove si può incastrare il cinturino, che lo trasforma in una vera e propria dock station.HARDWARE. La prima caratteristica che risalta, è l’estrema leggerezza, circa 32 gr, che insieme alle dimensioni contenute lo rendono un compagno ideale nella vita di tutti i giorni. Davvero, ci si scorda di averlo al polso dopo qualche minuto dal primo utilizzo.Molto piacevole al tatto anche il cinturino in silicone, leggermente gommato, e in colorazione nera opaca. Sostituibile con altri cinturini da 20mm. Dotato di certificazione IP68, che lo rende resistente alla polvere e all’acqua è davvero il compagno ideale per tutti i giorni.BATTERIA. Il Bip utilizza il bluetooth low energy, che fa durare la batteria almeno 20 giorni con un uso abbastanza intenso (notifiche, sessioni di sport giornalieri, rilevazione del battito, rilevazione del sonno). La vibrazione è corposa e si sente bene in ogni situazione.DISPLAY. Veniamo ora al punto forte di questo incredibile wearable: il display. È un piccolo display transflective da 1,28 pollici con risoluzione 176 x 176 pixel, utilizzabile solo dopo aver premuto il pulsante laterale. Questo significa che più luce colpisce lo schermo, più questo sarà visibile, rendendolo perfetto sotto la luce del sole. Presente anche la retroilluminazione (regolabile in 5 luminosità diverse) che si attiva con la rotazione del polso. Piccolo plus a riguardo, può essere messa “in pausa” in determinati orari con la funzione Do Not Disturb (facilmente accessibile dalla schermata principale, con uno swipe verso l’alto), così da non essere investiti dalla luce mentre si sta dormendo e si muove involontariamente il polso.MI FIT. Per quanto riguarda l’applicazione, spenderò poche parole, dato che a mio parere è davvero perfetta. Completa di tutti i dati necessari, facile e intuitiva da utilizzare. Con il Bip si aggiungono le schermate relative al percorso, rilevato grazie al GPS integrato, e le schermate dei vari dati rilevati, come passi, velocità, frequenza cardiaca.NOTIFICHE E WATCHFACES. Passiamo infine alla gestione notifiche e alle watchfaces. Unico punto a sfavore di questo smartwatch è la carenza di watchfaces. Si possono cambiare sia direttamente dallo smartwatch che dall’applicazione. Se siete utenti android potrete usufruire dell’app “Amazfit Bip Watchfaces” per avere una scelta più ampia. Le notifiche vengono gestite abbastanza bene, dalla schermata principale, facendo uno swipe in alto si può accedere alla gestione notifiche, in cui si possono leggere anche quelle più “vecchie”, e una schermata finale in cui potete cancellarle tutte.CONTRO. Due (+1) sono i veri punti a suo sfavore che ho trovato:1) la possibilità di ignorare o rifiutare la chiamata direttamente dal Bip, ma non di accettarla2) la funzione di Timer/countdown utilizzabile solo dalla schermata della funzione stessa. Quindi se si torna alla schermata principale si annulla il timer.Bonus: il GPS che non può essere visualizzato/utilizzato se non alla fine dell’attività svolta.CONCLUSIONI. Riguardo alla lingua, per quanto mi riguarda, utilizzando il telefono in lingua inglese, non ho avuto nessun tipo di problemi ad utilizzare l’orologio da subito. Ho anche collegato il Bip ad un altro telefono in lingua italiana, constatando che comunque rimane in lingua inglese. Per chi si dovesse trovare davanti al Bip in lingua cinese esistono numerosi tutorial online su come installare la rom in italiano. Non servono grosse conoscenze di inglese per poterlo utilizzare, quindi non trovo necessario, anche per chi non volesse cambiare la lingua dello smartphone, andare a installare la rom in italiano.Trovo che sia un prodotto eccellente per chi vuole tenere sotto controllo la propria attività fisica quotidiana, e per chi ha bisogno di poter accedere alle notifiche in maniera rapida. Diciamo che rimane un prodotto per utenti consapevoli, nel momento in cui si vuole andare a cambiare rom.

Se actualizó al español nada más conectarlo. La app funciona muy bien. Es un modelo elegante, preciso y se ve aún mejor a pleno sol. El GPS es rápido en conexión y preciso. Existen varias apps que te permiten cambiar la pantalla. Los usuarios han creado un centenar de ellas. Además al ser un modelo tan vendido existen multitud de accesorios muy baratos (correas, carcasas y protectores de pantalla). Sin GPS el gasto es minúsculo y la duración de la batería pasa del mes. Con GPS activo consume un 5% de la batería en una hora.Con lo cual si haces un ejercicio diario de una hora con el GPS tienes batería para unos 20 días sin recargar

Possesseur d'une Pebble, je cherche une remplaçante.J'ai été séduit par les caractéristiques de cette Bip, son prix, et son autonomie.Mais, après quelques heures d'utilisation j'ai déchanté. Le problème c'est l'offre logicielle. Elle est vraiment décevante.Ce qui faisait la force de la Pebble c'était la communauté des développeurs, des passionnés. On a même deux (oui, deux!) applications qui permettent de connaitre les horaires des transiliens...Là c'est des développeurs chinois visiblement, des salariés, qui font ce qu'on leur a dit de faire, mais boaf. Décevant. Et quasiment tout est orienté fitness (par leur direction marketing ?): pourquoi garder au poignet des semaines durant une montre dont les logiciels ne sont utiles que pour le sport ? On n'en fait pas 24h/24. Et en tant qu'ingé j'ai vraiment pas envie d'investir du temps à coder des applications qui seront gérées par un store d'application chinois, vu le contrôle qu'exerce ce gouvernement sur ses entreprises, et visiblement je suis pas le seul à penser comme ça.Donc je renvoie cette montre, je remet ma Pebble au poignet, et j'attends.
