I shopped for this for a Kashmir trip. It performs well on slippery surfaces like mud and snow. It's heavy due to its sturdiness but waterproof, so I can also use it during the monsoons. It takes some time to get used to long walks, and wearing it requires good leg strength for extended distances. buy this only if you have to cover different types of terrain

Worst product for the price point of view. There are many better options less than this price. The shoes are damn heavy that your whole leg will start paining. I bought them for kedarnath treck and my trek went very hard due to heaviness of the shoes. I ordered size 9 and receives size 8. Due to time constarint i couldn't return or exchange the product. As my travelling date was very near. Worst investment ever. As iam never gonna reuse them.

If you are looking for a shoe for treaking , just stop the search and buy this. I never wrote a product review before and I write this coz i spent 3k on a shoe suggested in decathlon and its mot working at all. Then one treak person suggested this ctr brand and i was in doubt with this amount can this shoes perform. I was surprised by its quality and comforness. Trustworthy to buy and use it will not disappoint this full pisa vasool product.

Quite heavy could have been light weight which is very important during trekking also there is no toe protection on this unlike the trek 1 model of ctr i did not wore it just tried and returned and opted for the ctr trek 1 which are better just without the water repellent feature which is of no use in the western ghats during rainy season. Also the packing i received was like the box has been to a war absolutely crushed and torned.

The shoes are best for trekking , hiking and gives a good grip ..the shoes cannot be used for running or jumping . The shoes are best for mountain hiking and trekks and gives you that extra grip , confidence and support. Have used them in some trekks on the sahyadri mountains
