Just used once, so far. Nice large base. Heating settings and timer settings seem better than some others. I may come back to update review later. On high heat setting, the candle melted and had a nice scent into two rooms after 40 minutes. It was getting strong and I lowered the temp to the lowest setting. Turned off in two hours automatically. Perfect ! Put a hotpad underneath if using hot setting for longer time period. So far it's worth its price with the discount that was applied. UPDATE: ( 2 week later) I entered pictures. One is for a small base that we melted paraffin wax squares and then added some drops of essential oils. The 3 wick candle still has room for a slightly larger candle. So far have not tried it for a hot drink. The plate does get hot and so does the outside of candle, so keep out of reach of children. Would recommend this product and I am not a tester !!! UPDATE: (30 days later) Still happy with this heating element. Keeps my coffee hot until finished. I haven't had coffee / tea on the warmer more than 1 hour, so beyond that time I believe it will still stay hot.

Keep in mind that to heat your coffee the plate itself when set to 185, which will also burn you, the plate might get to 300 to do that job until it ramps back down to maintainance temp. This thing can go low for warm milk or quite hot. The buttons don't move, they use electrostatic finger sensing. No moving parts to funk out. Very solid purchase in cool weather. I've switched to iced coffee for summer but over the final 30 days of cool spring it's been tops. It'll stay on for 12 hours if you want - 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, like that. Just tap tap tap.

I thought I'd LOVE this, but really only just like it. With the cord, it does reduce where I can place the warmer - for me in particular, the two most convenient places are the countertop in the kitchen and my desk in the the office. I have found that it warms well, as long as the mug is a least half empty. Or if I'm wiling to take the time to stir the contents to spread around the heat. I'm curious about other systems a friend told me about where the mug itself is the warmer and battery operated. Likely, more expensive. This is adequate, and I will continue to use it, but I'm not jumping up and down excited about it.

Edited 12.4.24...The mug warmer had been working perfect until today it stays on but doesn't heat at all. Purchased on 9/7/24 and it quit working today 12.4.24. Even though I love how it kept all my beverages at perfect temperature 3 months of use for the price isn't worth it. I rather have lukewarm coffee for 1 year than perfect for 3 months. Very disappointed it didn't last at least a year. will not buy again. my coffee, tea and hot chocolate stay at the perfect temperature each time. I have had this warmer for 2 weeks. I was totally shocked about how well it heats and stays heated. This is the first warmer to do what I needed. Will review again when unit is 6mos or if it stops working.

I had purchased another mug warmer here at Amazon and it had an auto shut-off after two hours but it would shut off after 5 mins!! It was terrible, I hadn't had a hot cup of coffee for the 3 months I had it so I purchased this one after reading reviews. It is as good as the old, old one I had replaced after like 15 years. I had to replace because not all my cups would fit on the old one, it had a lip around the edge that raised the cup off the warmer if the bottom of the cup was bigger than the inside of the lip so I needed something flat like this. It is GREAT! It does have an auto shut-off which is nice but it STAYS ON for the entire time its supposed to, unlike the other one I had purchased.

Great product has lasted over three years now

I really like this mug warmer. It's perfect for me. Well I'm watching the news in the morning, I can let my coffee or tea sit for hours. Temperature settings are good and time works perfectly. Very handy for me because I can set a cup of coffee down and walk away and forget about it and then I have to reheat in the microwave, and who likes that.

The product is good for countries using 110v, Hopefully they have 220v for this kind of model.
