Favourite Phone Ever
Incredible phone. Fairly sourced materials, good performance, good battery life, screen is pretty good (not the best, but for 99% of people it's fine), and the brightness of said screen is good. Arguably, it doesn't get as dim as I'd hope, but you can control this with an extra dim feature and night screen mode.

You can mend it yourself - plus its a great spec
I like that the back comes off using just my thumb nails. The battery clips in and out with minimum fuss (no screws to undo, no sheild over the connectors, no dangly wire on the battery). I'm abivalent over the "dual SIM" milarky, downloading a soft-SIM for the "other" SIM "slot", but hey, I'm old-school. I'm also ambivalent over having to remove the battery before swapping/installing SIM card and Micro SD card - but I'm guessing thats to ensure the power is off-off before pulling them out or pushing them in... microSD cards with FAT don't tend to be hot-swap anyway. Overall I like that this phone has been designed so it can be mended by folk like me (my HTC Desire 530 had an escucheon top and bottom that has to be removed with a scalpel and four screws removed before the back/case could be removed, then a sheid had to be unscrewed before the battery could be disconnected/replace)

Fairphone - A Great Concept
Delivery driver failed with delivery whilst I was sitting in front street facing room of my house waiting for him. After getting his text, I caught up with him further up the street and got the phone. Fairphone 5 is a great concept. The ability to repair everything and long Android support mean the phone should be a faithful servant for years to come. Performance is commensurate with the price.

Shockingly Poor Customer Service
I love everything about this phone, the design, feel and look is perfect! Everything has been amazing for the past 2 months and then one day my phone says there is no SIM card installed. There was, but it wasn't seeing it. So I put in another one, it didn't see it either, and another pay-as-you-go sim card and still nothing.Tried multiple times to contact the company with no response. They rely heavily on their forum for most problem solving. I did manage to open a repair ticket after having to input mandatory information like IMEI number, Purchase date, Receipts, Build Number... .ect. I have been without a phone for days now.The phone is great, albeit with some flaws, but the customer service is a joke. I will be replacing this phone.

Excellent sustainable credentials. Poor software and firmware.
Five stars for its embedded sustainability and ethics.Three stars for features. Lots of bugs. The camera app is rubbish. Had to change it for another one. Phone often freezes. I have to constantly restart it. Basic use of OS.One star for customer support. Took them three weeks to respond to a question about the camera app. Response was; restart the phone.

Excellent
Superb phone, easy to change battery and fix most things readily and relatively cheaply yourself. 5 year warranty and at least eight years of updates and support.

ok but not great
the phones ok , I'm not wowed by anything, loads of issues with aps not working having to delete and reinstall and the battery is shocking, I had a redmi before half the price and so much better this one I have to take a battery pack out with me even when I don't use it I'm gutted ( it was a gift) so I'm stuck with it now . nothing special on it or new really boring phone I'd love for it to break ! so I could get a new one but oh great I can fix it .... this is not a good thing !!

A decent phone
I bought this phone to replace an iPhone which despite being in good working order had become unsupported and was fast becoming unusable. I like the idea of being able to replace the battery and screen easily and it has a slot for a memory card. It uses a reasonably controllable version of android and their aren't any embedded apps needing the T&C accepting in the set up process. It connects to the car easily. It seems to do all my old iphone did and is easier to connect to a computer to copy photos and add music files. Only time will tell how well it remains usable as it ages. The issues I have are:To access to the SD and memory card the back has to be taken off and the battery removed.Their is a lot of parallax error on the camera lens. All in all I am very happy with the phone and considering the price difference between the Fairphone an what Apple are offering I would highly recommend it.Now, if Fairphone started producing a tablet....
