Solary Smoke Machine for Car - DC 12V EVAP Automotive Smoke Tester for Vacuum Leaks

Worked as advertised. Its an impressive little smoke machine. Tested an evap system for leaks and full size truck exhaust. Found smoke for evap leak in under a minute and exhaust leak in about 3-5 minutes. Plugged tail pipe with supplied adapter to plug smoke machine into and pushed smoke up to exhaust manifolds to locate leak. I have only used this unit twice and don't know how long it will hold up under constant use. Recommend buying unit with gauge it's very useful in diagnosis of leaks.

No issues works just like you want. Very convenient to use power from a battery. Give it a chance to warm up the smoke and it gets super thick. Using it indoors it can have a lingering scent but not forever it eventually goes away

Gets the job done! Great for the price point! Remember, you’re getting what you pay for, but this is still a wonderful machine for the mechanic on a budget!

Works well for finding exhaust and vacuum leaks. Very smelly so make sure you are outside or venting it good. No complaints so far

Produced adequate smoke and pressure, located my vacuum leak. Works better than a more expensive unit I used previously, if I knew I could get an ok-ish one at this price point I would have bought months ago. I spent the extra money for the model with the pressure gauge and master power switch. The pressure gauge in mine does not work, but I don't feel I needed it, and the switch was still probably worth the few bucks to me. Two stars lost for broken gauge and general fit/finish (wobbles on its plastic feet when sat on flat surfaces), but gains one back for included velcro wraps on cords and lines. Unexpected and appreciated. As the instructions and warnings say, you really only need a small amount of oil. I ran it for at least 5 minutes across several run cycles and it only used about 10ml. I used it with "mineral oil OSP" I already had, its just baby oil minus perfumes, probably better for the machine and engine.

This thing had already made me 10 times as much money as it costs. Having an easy to use smoke machine that doesn’t rely on shop air makes life so much easier.

Found the leak. Great smoke detector. Nice size easy to install. And great price.

Excellent. Used it to find a leak in my brake vacuum Venturi plastic assembly in my F150. It does not come with oil. I used baby oil, generic baby oil from Walmart.
