This is a clever design and the mug is easy to hold. I placed it in the microwave to warm (with water) and it's retained the perfect temp for my morning java. I have a very sensitive nose and was concerned re. other negative remarks of the lid emitting a rubbery odor: nothing bothering my nose here!Also, because the lid is so soft, I wondered if it was secure for drinking. Again, perfect function.The blue color is lovely and glossy. So happy I ordered this:-)
