We always recommend ironing while slightly damp to minimize creases as with all cotton products. As this is a 100% natural cotton tablecloth product we have allowed for a small amount of shrinkage which will naturally occur during machine washing. The product is supplied slightly larger and during normal recommended washing some shrinkage will occur but will maintain the minimum 52 x 52 inches throughout its lifetime if following the care label attached to the tablecloth. The 100% Cotton is Colorfast so colors will not bleed into each other unlike some of the cheaper and inferior gingham tablecloths.
