Excellent Contactor for the price. Works as expected
This is actually a 4-pole NO (Normally Open) contactor used to control (switch on/off) high current devices such as motors and pumps. These devices have high inrush current before they stabilize, so a regular/smaller relay can't usually handle it. This contactor takes 120v AC on the Coil (the part that triggers the contactor) and can handle 25A on each of the 4 poles. You can use this to control two separate motors or pumps each @ 240v, as long as they do not use more than 25A on each 120v leg/pole. In my case I used it to control a Hayward single speed pool pump using a WiFi relay. This allows for automation options and expansion given this contractor has 4 poles. For example when turning on the pool pump also turn on the salt cell and maybe even a light, all with one contactor. Note that all 4 poles are open and when 120v is applied to the coil they all engage at the same time on this unit. So L1 to T1, L2 to T2, etc... The contactor can also be tested by manually pressing the blue bar in the middle to close the contacts. This unit does make a fairly loud humming sound while running, and a very loud sound when it engages/disengages, but since mine is in a metal box on the outside wall it is not an issue. Furthermore it seems to use about 0.5A on the 120v coil circuit, which seems high, but I have no point of comparison with other contactors. If anyone knows, do comment. Anyway, overall I am very happy with the unit and the price, and it works exactly as expected.

nice product
It works fine I did a new installation for now it is good the coil draws well time will show its durability if there is an issue early I will inform you you can buy it I recommend it but there is an important issue be careful about this I bought two one is 110 volt and the other is 220 volt the label on the boxes gives detailed accurate information but if you take them out of the boxes and mix them up you have to measure the contact coil with a measuring tool to find out which one is 110 and which one is 220 because both have 220 volt labels so trust the label on the contactor or give 110 volts to both whichever draws well is 110 the one that makes the buzzing contact is 220 you can tell this way don't give 220 first the 110 one may burn good luck.

Great product, shipping damaged
Great contactors at a great price! But… Both of these contactors arrived with the retaining clip broken off from the base. Shipper Must use better packaging for item protection when shipping! These were delivered in a sealed paper envelope! No padding or bubble wrap… I installed these because I’m repairing a machine during a scheduled shut down and they had to be up and running today. This did not affect operation of these but they are not locked into the din rail and could easily be lifted or bumped off. Not very safe running at 575vac!
