If you have a Henson razor, you will love this stand. They're obviously made for the Henson product and mine fits there perfectly. It allows your razor to dry out completely after each shave and really requires no maintenance other than wiping it down occasionally. Appears to be made from the same aluminum which they use for the razors. Looks great, works perfectly and will make a nice addition to your bathroom sink products.

2 year update after getting the Henson razor as a Christmas gift from my son: Great razor and I bought the razor stand that helps drying. I have told Henson they should promote the Dorco ST300 platinum blades available on Amazon, not the RK blades. Dorco’s cost less and last twice as long. Also, I recommend Edge Shave Gel from Walmart. Just like the incredible CNC machined razor, is the CNC machined storage stand made from a solid block of aluminum alloy, which is designed to drain water from the razor between shaves and protects the blade. I think the Henson Razor, is the best kept secret in the shaving world - replacement blades last a week for me, and the replacement blade price is - wait for it - 10 cents each! Follow up to my initial review: I received my Henson razor as a Christmas gift, and have now been using it every day for almost 6 months. This is the best razor I have ever used, and I have tried them all, but you have to buy the razor directly from Henson. Expensive but worth it! At 10 cents a week for replacement blades, the payback from your initial razor purchase is very quick. The national brand 5 blade replacements run about $4 each - do the math - you will be pleasantly surprised.

Holds my razor the way I'd expect it to. Solid make, light but sturdy. I'm not sure what else one can review on this thing. Works with the razor I bought really well.

Same aesthetic and build quality as the Henson razor; machined from a solid block of aluminum, so it's as good as it gets construction-wise. Holds the razor securely and looks clean on the counter. Pretty much what you'd expect from Henson... simple, well-made, does exactly what it needs to do. If you've already got their razor, this is the obvious choice for a stand. Not cheap, but neither is the razor, and the quality matches.

Since the bottom of the Henson AL13 is rounded, this is the only stand that looks aesthetically pleasing on the counter top. I took off a point because a vertical inkwell style stand would take up less space, and fit my razor collection more seamlessly.

The picture doesn't do it justice. Nice piece of work. Interesting how this type of razor stand differs from all the rest that hold the razor upright. I like the Henson idea of their way of air drying the razor. In fact, I was putting my other razors on their side-end to dry; it just made so much more sense for me to do so even after towel drying it. I now have a nice looking stand that does just that - hold the razor on its side end, just the way I like it. And it looks great. Well made, definitely will last forever. It has two threaded holes underneath, maybe was used to hold down the raw piece during the machining process? No doubt a conversational piece. I was reluctant to buy because of the price, but I'm glad I did. You get what you pay for. No regrets. Good job Henson.
