They show up sealed... threw them in water then the drier as directed... Definitely are decent but they are not square which is dumb, see above. Need to build a little frame or something to pack them in.

We live in an apartment with lousy neighbors so we decided to buy these after doing a lot of research. We even consulted with an architect and he suggested using these along with other hacks to reduce the noise coming from the upstairs floor. We were ecstatic that we would finally have a good night sleep! After A LOT of money invested (these are NOT cheap!), and lowering our ceiling around 18 cms, adding drywall so the ceiling was not red and ugly, the noise reduction went down by 30% at most. You should not give customers False expectations! Especially that I cannot return them now as they are stuck in the ceiling!!! 😡 Had I read this review, I would’ve looked for another solution!

These are cheap. They are pressure vacuumed to save on shipping. Even after 3 days, some of them are still shrunk down to less than a half of an inch thick. The materials are much cheaper foam than anything else I have ever purchased. I am actually so upset that I got this brand instead of the one I normally order that I may just bite the shipping charge and return them. Dont settle for these when others and I dont mean the new El Gatos are out there. Foam panels can be found in way better quality than this.
