Elderly mother broke the original control after at least 15 years of daily use. We were relieved to find the exact replacement as she is challenged by charges- especially technology.

Our old lift chair controller died after several years of heavy usage. This controller was the exact same one we had. It was extremely easy to install. My husband has problems with his back and legs and needs the Lift Chair for sleeping. We are very happy with the Golden Tech Infinite Position Hand Control.

Direct Plugin. One thing to make it even easier for you, check for the plug in the middle of the wire for your old remote. Probably in the side pocket of the chair. If yours is like mine, the wires only broke at the remote and you don't have to replace it all the way down under the chair. (I did and later found the other plug) You won't need the end of the wire that comes with this new control then, but you'll have it if you need it. Probably turn a 10-15 minute job for me into a 1 minute or less for you.

I ordered a new remote to be delivered right to my mom's nursing home. The staff there installed it, and called and said the new remote wasn't working. I personally went to the nursing home and called the customer service line. Damon was super helpful and helped me troubleshoot the problem step by step. The remote works great now, and I was so appreciative of the personal help. I joke with my mom that she didn't know she had a lift chair repair girl in the family. Highly recommend.
