This has been a lovely high quality upgrade to my espresso setup over a more basic silicone mat that I have been using for a while. I had previously bought a Normcore tamper and was pretty impressed with the brand so I was happy to give this a try. The pictures don't really do the product justice--the black color looks flat and kind of boring in photos but in person has just the right amount of wood texture to stand out in a good way to me.It has a lovely solid feel to it--I admittedly tamp a bit aggressively (I have a 30lb spring in the tamper and often blow right past it) and have never felt like this station was going to tip or flex under the pressure. What I like most about the tamping section is that I no longer have to worry about the bottom of the portafilter digging into anything as there is just enough space for the spout to not touch anything. It comes with a few silicone inserts to accomodate different portafilter sizing.The rest of the holes on the station are perfect to hold a mesh filter, paper filters, my tamper, and a dosing funnel. There is also a small round hole for a WDT/stirrer tool. I personally have a stirrer with a base and the hole is too narrow for that, which is kind of a bummer. But it should be an appropriate size for most stirrers if you're not using a base.Overall super pleased with this!

The media could not be loaded.  This normcore piece is sleek looking and elevates my tamper station. The product itself is heavy and made of quality material. It holds all my gadgets and comes with other pieces that help adjust the fit of your tamper.

La finition de la station est top mais par contre, le produit est arrivée abîmé. La boîte n’a pas de marque extérieure donc j’imagine que le produit était déjà abîmé… c’est dommage

Les produits Normcore ont généralement une qualité de finition supérieure à la moyenne, et dans mon cas du moins, la qualité y est. Le bois a un fini qui rivalise celui des meubles haut de gamme, mais à plus de 120$ pour une si petite pièce, on ne s'attendrait pas à moins.Non, mes gros problèmes consistent en la difficulté de nettoyage et la conception du support à porte-filtre.Point de vue nettoyage : c'est que les grains de café se retrouvent un peu partout avec le temps, en particulier sous les petits couvercles circulaire de silicone. Ces deux couverts sont assez difficiles à retirer et si par mégarde, un peu d'eau s’infiltre entre le silicone et le bois, ça pourrait ne pas être joli. On lave le tout une fois de temps en temps avec un chiffon légèrement humide et on assèche rapidement.Maintenant, concernant la conception du support à porte-filtre : premièrement, le support est incompatible avec certains modèles de porte-filtre, en particulier ceux dont la "sortie" est en angle. Autre point négatif : la conception tout en bois de la crevasse servant de "trop plein" pour le support à porte-filtre est un peu étrange. Si vous faites plusieurs espresso un à la suite de l'autre, il se pourrait qu'il y ait quelques gouttes d'eau/café qui tombent dans le support et comme le fond est en bois, c'est plus difficile à laver et pourrait donner lieu à un bris éventuel du bois (craques, fentes, boursouflages). Il aurait été plus facile si la partie "récipient" du support avait été en silicone au complet.Bref, ce n'est pas un produit parfait et je crois que pour le prix, on devrait s'attendre à un peu mieux.

I am a person that enjoys organization and I love that my espresso tools have a home and each step of my puck prep is supported by this station. It is an integral part of my workflow and it is a joy to have my whole process run smoothly every morning.
