Both two of these one for my father and I think he will like it. Nothing to dislike and I love this the Brush is nice and soft and everything seems like its good quality. All in all I'm very happy with purchase

This set is an ideal stand for my brush and the bowl is great to create a foam. I'm happy with this for my own use but I wouldn't buy it as a gift, it looks a bit like someone has made it in DT class at school, I actually thought it had a film on that you peel off but it's just the way it is made. Overall it's a good item that is worth the price but if you are thinking of getting it for a gift, I'd go for something else.

I was really impressed with this brush and stand, very good for the price. The bowl isn't very good for lathering shaving soap, so you might want to buy a proper scuttle, but it's still good for the price.Edit: I’ve now used this for 6 months. I was undecided if I was going to get into real shaving or not so I thought I’d buy some cheap equipment to see if it was for me, before buying an expensive brush, razor and stand from my barbers. I’m glad I didn’t, as this brush is perfect. I’ve seen some for £120 and I struggle to think of how they would be better than this one. The bowl isn’t as bad as I originally thought, it’s not as good as a scuttle, but if you leave it soaking in hot water for a while before using, it gets the job done.

The stand is plastic and not very sturdy

I have been using the set for a long time now and it still is like brand new, the plastic makes it easy to clean and the brush is soft when applying the soap and spreads it evenly across my face making shaving easier.
