I have found this to be the only salmon oil capsule that I can take, since I hate fish and cant stand the thought of burping up fish taste. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I dont taste it at all, although rarely I will burp up a very slight taste, but its rare and its not strong. I've taken them faithfully for 6 months now, in response to some bloodwork that showed high cholesterol. I take 2 of them per day, plus green tea, and CoQ10. My new bloodwork just came back: total cholesterol down 36 points, LDL (bad cholesterol ) down 46 points, and HDL (good) up 12 points! I couldn't have been more pleased! I also kicked my keto diet to the curb and replaced it with healthier eating, fasting 1x a week, and have dropped 10 lbs. These changes have been very positive, and I'd say, dont hesitate to buy this fish oil supplement, its well worth the benefits!

I take these for general health - heart health, etc. They have the proper ratio of DHA / EPA for all uses - i.e. if you want to take larger doses for potential mental health benefits. I have not noticed any unpleasant aftertaste, even if I burp shortly after taking this with my morning meds. Can I say that these are having a direct and positive impact on my health? No, because I didn't start with a clean slate of blood work and blood pressure readings, then start taking these, maintain the exact same lifestyle for 3 months and then go back for a full medical workup again, but the company seems trustworthy, the label shows all of the information and ingredients that I was looking for, and there is no bad taste or aftertaste.

I really like this so far! The inside of the bottle actually smells so good, like strawberries! Taste/smell wasn't really an important factor for me, but this is a nice bonus. These capsules weren't completely burpless for me, when taken on an empty stomach, but the burps weren't fishy at all, and tasted like strawberries so it didn't bother me at all! If you take these capsules with food, these are probably burpless. The capsules are about the same size as most fish oil pills, so they were easy enough to swallow most of the time. As for how well the pills work, it's probably a little too soon to tell for me, so I plan to update this review later and adjust the rating accordingly, but so far it seems to work well enough like most other quality fish oil capsules. I do like that this brand seems to use quality ingredients without any extra added unhealthy ingredients added, and the dosage of the EPA and DHA seem to be a good amount, and you only need to take two capsules a day rather than three like a lot of other brands. I share these capsules with my mother and brother to help with joint pain/headaches, and it seems to work well enough so far! Will update this review later after taking it for longer. Anyway, I do recommend this brand so far, because 3 bottles of fish oil for about $30 from a good brand seems like a pretty good deal! I will probably re-order this.

Some years back, the best Doctor I ever had got me started on taking fish oil supplements. It's great for the skin, hair and heart. The main thing I remember him saying was "Don't buy just any fish oil, it has to be northern deep cold water fish." So with that as a basis, I began the journey of trying different brands. Over the years, some small, some gave me the fish burp (yuck!), some were good but faded away in time. Then I found the 'Smarter' brand: quality alaskan fish, no burp (maybe a little strawberry essence sometimes...), good eazy swallow size and don't care what they say I only take one a day, every day tho, and sure, a bit pricey compared to some others but beware the cheapies - anchovy, sardines, non-descript-fish... 150 days at current price works out to about .27 cents a pill/a day. Your worth it!
