This is my very first time ever using this type of soap. I’m very impressed. It makes me feel so clean and I don’t feel stripped or dry. I also tend to get irritated skin from new stuff. No tingling, itching, or anything else weird here.I like fragrance. Like, I really,really like fragrance. This soap is definitely fragrance free except for the lovely, earthy, fresh scent of the olive and laurel oils.This soap is so dang good that I promise you if you are looking for a good, natural, and ancient recipe soap then added fragrance isn’t even going to matter here.IT DOES NOT STINK, IT SMELLS LIKE THE EARTH!!!! :)I was using scented liquid Castile soap from that popular doctor for bathing until today. I’m not going back unless I have absolutely nothing else to use.

The soap smells like its ingredients. It smells earthy. This is not a perfume. My family doesn't like the smell but they tolerate it because this soap is the best thing for soothing and avoiding irritated skin on my hands.You will definitely need a draining soap dish.If the bar sits in water, it will become mushy and the smell of the ingredients will be stronger.I keep mine standing on end in the soap dish, not lying on its side, so it dries more quickly after use.It's a large bar that if kept dry between uses will last a long time.

Let me start by saying this product is amazing! I was in the market for a good soap product that would alleviate the dryness my wife and son has and have attempted at multiple products. Some products worked well, but had a terrible smell to it. However, Allepo soap has a wonderful fragrant and more importantly just works wonders. After a couple month usage the soap has left my family with a HYDRATED, GREAT SMELLING, SOFT skin feel that easily deserves 5 stars! The soap itself is a large cube that can be dissected into 1/3 that lasts for quite some time. Highly recommended and am a fan for future purchases.

At first I was skeptical because my wife likes to buy stuff that doesn’t work and then I end up using it. However this soap, is amazing on my skin, i am not one to use lotion ever, but with this soap makes my skin Soft and healthy looking! I also have a big beard now and I used to just shampoo my beard and use conditioner on it, but when I use Aleppo Soap my beard looks shiny and clean!!My wife and daughter are of sensitive skin and they are loving the Aleppo Soap 5 stars and I will be buying this soap on a regular basis. Also keep in mind this thing is big, so we cut it in 3, 1 piece for our bodies(wife and me) 1 for the kids and 1 for the face by the sink. A blessing for my home because my sensitive wife and kids are anti-fragrance all the way! Anyways 5 stars, love It, wasn’t really my thing but I am on board with this soap!

It’s great for sensitive skin. You can shave with it because it’s slick and lathers up nicely. Feels good on face and cleans well. It’s low scent, but reminds me of musky old books.

I do not recommend it. I wanted to like it. It sounded like a great product but it smells like a very old soap. I was not expecting it. Every soap I have ever used always had a pleasant scent. So, it was a different experience. My husband did not want to use it on himself. I did use the soap until it was finished. I liked it on my face and skin. However, it was not that much better than regular soaps to make me want to buy it again. Especially, taking the smell of it into consideration. Also, I was recommended by someone to use Aleppo soap to wash my hair instead of shampoo. It did not work out. Aleppo soap doesn’t clean the hair at all. If anyone intends to use it to wash one’s hair, I do not recommend it. If anyone is sensitive to smells, I do not recommend it either. Hence, it just didn’t work for me.

I have dry skin and Getty up there in age. This soap leaves me feeling clean and refreshed. Without dry skin. Smells like dirt on the bar but leaves no odor. I like it.

I also noticed I am very itchy after use
