A steal for the price.
I decided it was time to upgrade from my phone and point and shoot camera. I did a lot of research into best entry level cameras, and this model was highly recommended. I’m on a very tight budget and this was a huge splurge for me so I wanted to get the most for my money. The price on this was better than I could get anywhere else, and by buying refurbished I saved hundreds of dollars for a quality product. I instantly saw what a difference having a dslr camera makes in my pictures, and I am having a lot of fun learning how to shoot manual. The only con I have is that the telephoto lens doesn’t have image stabilization, if you are zooming in on a far off object that would help a lot. This is fixed by using a tripod or steady surface but it’s something to consider. There is a learning curve when beginning photography, and it can be an expensive hobby. Perhaps if you are new to photography like me you would want to wait to purchase a nicer telephoto lens after you mastered the regular kit lens, or invest in a sturdy tripod for when you plan to use it. That is something I did not realize because I am a novice.

First "real" camera - totally impressed
I bought this refurbished, and you can't tell at ALL. I love this camera, and it turned out to be a great "first" camera. The battery life is surprisingly good. The lenses are fantastic and it's sturdy, lightweight, and sleek. I've had it for about 3-4 months, and I haven't had any problems with it at all. Love it!!

great deal
I bought this for my son who has had a passion of photography for years. He did research on many cameras and this is the one he really wanted. He loves it! I have never seen him more excited about something than he was when he got his camera.

Easy to get used to.
Love this camera. Haven't found anything to not like but I am still getting used to it. I don't expect to find any problems though.
