Impressed!
Updated review: It has been over 3 years and this is still one of the best purchases I've ever made. It looks and functions just as perfectly as the day I got it and it has seen plenty of use. This cooler has come in handy so many times. Most recently, I moved in to a new apartment only to have my fridge break down a day later and this cooler allowed me to keep milk for my cereal and creamer for my coffee, plus a few other essentials, during a very stressful period. I never thought I could have so much affection for an inanimate object, but I love this cooler so much that I really ought to name it.Original review: I love this cooler and couldn't be happier with the quality. The handles are sturdy and I also love that it has a side pouch for extra storage. Recently I tasked somebody else with buying a bag of ice for my camping trip. They showed up with a bag of chewy ice from sonic. I was hesitant to use it because that stuff is so small and melts so easily, it is not designed for coolers at all, but I really wanted to get on the road and knew we were camping within a half hour of a gas station so I figured we could always buy more if needed. To my surprise, the chewy ice held up for the entire three days and two nights of camping! Granted, it was a moderate September weekend, but it was even left in direct sunlight one afternoon while we went for a hike.

Awesome Product!!! Now im going to buy the 75qt and I will never need another cooler in my lifetime!
I am so excited to have this cooler and I am very proud of the fact that it was made in the good old USA! I bought this cooler for the following reason; Throughout the summer I always keep approx. a 30qt cooler in the rear of my SUV and its always got beer in it. It is a nice Coleman cooler, or so I thought. These size coolers do not come with a drain port. Also, after the second day my ice was spent. So now to keep my cooler always cold and full of beer I had to tip the cooler while trying to hold my beers from falling out, then yes, pay for two more bags of ice. I looked into the Yeti and so on and so fourth after a million videos on tests and ratings I went with the ORCA 26. I no longer have to tip my cooler and the ice with me opening numerous times has lasted for 5 days so far. It looks like it will fall perfectly on the weekend so I can repack my cooler at the end of the weekend and I will be good for the whole week. Thank you so much Amazon and ORCA!!!

It works.
I bought this after reading reviews and watching video reviews of this brand. I liked that it's made in the USA and that it seems to do the job of keeping things cold. I got mine and put it straight to the test to see how it would do. I sat it by my chair in the living room and put 4 1L Nalgene bottles of fresh iced tea with ice in the cooler and then I took a couple of bags of cubed ice broken down into 1 gallon Ziploc bags. The cooler was full. After a couple of days there was some water in the bags of ice but not much. After 7 days the ice was about 1/3 water or maybe a little more. At 10 days the bags of ice were about 2/3 water. At 12 days the ice was gone in the bags but the water was still cold and so was the tea. I used a bag of ice almost everyday and never added anymore until after that 12 days. I'm very happy with the results and I'm looking at getting a 2nd cooler in the 40qrt size now.

A great cooler...stop thinking about it and just buy it already!
Bought this bad boy for Burning Man. We stocked it with cold food and 1/2 a bag of ice and that lasted about 2 days. We then drained it and used a block of ice which kept our food cold for the rest of our stay for the event (4 days). I was very impressed with this cooler considering the conditions it handled (98-100 degrees every day). For our beer cooler we had a coleman xtreme with a solar blanket covering it--that did the job almost as equally well but we added more ice considering we were adding warm beers in it every day (and opening and closing it much, much more). Going back to the orca; the Orca being USA made was a huge plus for me. Yeti coolers are made in USA and Thailand, and are more expensive...when you buy an Orca youre putting Americans to work, and they also donate a portion of their sale to charity. I did extensive research on these 5-day coolers, and you can't beat the performance and price going with an Orca.

Beer doesn't fit, Ugh.
It is a good cooler and does keep things cold an extended period of time as promised. The only reason it is not a 5 star review is that you cannot put bottled beer in it standing up, I cannot believe they designed this product so that if you put bottled beer in it that it will not close. Quite a disappointment when I stocked it up for the 4th of July party and could not close the lid. If you prefer your beer in cans than this is a fantastic cooler, if you prefer it in bottles then you may be disappointed like me.

It is super sturdy and holds ice for 24+ hours
I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present, but he got it early because I was so excited. He loves this cooler!! It is super sturdy and holds ice for 24+ hours. The only downfall is that it does not hold beer bottles standing straight up, we just lay them down. It fits an 18 pack of bottles stuffed with ice, but it could probably hold a 24 pack if you didn't use a whole bag of ice.It is the same if not better quality than a Yeti and half the price, it is also not as heavy as the yeti! Highly recommend!

Great Cooler.
Cooler came wrapped in plastic bag, inside box, no scratches, or defects found anywhere. Needed a smaller cooler. The ORCA is just the right size (have RTIC 45 qt) for every day use when you don't need to carry a lot and also not as heavy and bulky for handling. Like the fact that it was a little larger than the 20 quart size rotomold coolers other manufacturers sold and it had rope handles. Have not tried to keep anything over a couple of days in it so far. It has retained ice very well and kept drinks cold.

A very good ice chest if opened rarely
A very good ice chest if opened rarely. If you open it like normal use for an ice chest, the ice will melt just as fast as any other ice chest. I used it when rving keeping most things in the small electric refrigerator, and keeping seldom needed items in the ORCA. Block ice would last a week, bagged ice for several days.
