I've used this to successfully feed 2 cables, so it has paid for itself.One broken thread, which was probably misuse.Also, take extreme care to make sure all the threads are screwed up tightly. If you need to wriggle or rotate these when feeding through, remember to rotate clockwise. Also, re-check every thread is tight before moving onto another job.Should have got some of these years ago.

Decent little set, made a mistake when I ordered, thought they were meter rods ( actually about 10 inches) was my fault. But screwed together enough to pull the cables I needed.

Really handy bit of kit, would recommend purchase. I borrowed one from a friend once and he had tape around one end, I didn't question him why. On receiving my own I realised why. When you put the last rod back in the tube the bottom of the holding tube falls off and you start repacking again. Tip: Tape one end and call it the bottom :)

I was struggling to fish cables behind plasterboard. These arrived and within 2 minutes I had screwed them together and had the cables exactly where I wanted them.

Not had any problems with these and I've bashed them about on a regular basis as I bought them to use at work. Great little set of fish sticks.

Brilliant tool. Didn’t expect much for the price but work really well. No issues with connectors even when pulling 2.5mm twin and earth up through plastered wall

Perfect to drop a cable from the loft through a drywall partition.Won't be any good for much more than the occasional domestic job though. The end fell off one and each one is only 30cm long. Handy addition for the toolbox though

It's the same as silverline is just a different sticker but cheaper. It's not a professional tool so buy two kits for rewiring a house.
