Worth the money
The chain is tough and heavy, as other people say. That's good as it will be difficult to cut through it to steal a bike. It also has the Secure Lock symbol on it which some insurers use as part if their insurance policies.

It’s a monster!
This is a really chunky gold standard lock which looks seriously strong. I’ve no way of testing it without destroying it of course! However, understandably, it’s really heavy which means that taking it with me adds a lot of extra weight. Not too much of a problem with an electric bike.

Seems secure
Very heavy for my new ebike but it seems very sturdy

Heavy but safe
I like the combination of chain and lock so I can easily wrap it around wheels and poles. It's a bit heavy but it makes it sturdier. I can't say if it protects my bike from being stolen as I haven't noticed anyone trying to or maybe that's the proof.

Good value, solid lock with Sold Secure GOLD certification.
Impressively heavy duty 'strong' bike lock. And when I say bike lock, I mean motorbike or scooter rather than cycle, unless it is intended for home use as garage security. This would not ideally be suitable for carrying around when cycling, which is what I originally wanted. However, it does have the coveted Sold Secure GOLD standard, which gives a certain peace of mind whatever your intended use.The lock is heavy, with a large loop that disengages once unlocked, which makes using it very easy. I've use locks with very small access pins, presumably to reduce the chance of prying the lock open, however, they can be awkward to use.The keys use the barrel type design, which some people love or hate. I quite like these as they are less bulky and won't cut holes in your pockets. The fact that the lock is insurance approved with Sold Secure GOLD status suggests the lock mechanism isn't easily packable. The links in the chain appear strong, with a corrosion resistant finish, and they are enclosed in a strong nylon sheath. What will be important to many people is the total length of the chain. and is something to bear in mind depending on your intended use.Plenty long enough to go through a cycle frame, or a motorbike wheel, to a secure post etc. There are significantly more expensive locks out there, with equal sold Secure rating. They may offer more protection. There are cheaper locks out there, with lower levels of security rating. If you want an excellent value, Sold Secure GOLD standard heavy chain lock then this is definitely worth considering. Bear in mind that insurance companies may refuse, or make it very difficult, to make a claim in the event of theft if your lock is not insurance standard approved.

Solid. Very heavy. Leave home without it.
Exactly what I wanted. Very solid and robust. Ideal for securing my bike at home. It’s intended to remain at home so ideal for me. If you need something to carry around with you then this isn’t probably it (I guess it’s great for training though...)

One Lock Will Just About Fit Round 3 Bikes
I like the fact that this is a big chain and big enough to apparently repel most attackers.I had three bikes to lock up and one chain just about did it so I bought another one to be sure.

Great lock for the price
Great lock for the price, I needed a Gold standard lock for my bike for insurance purposes. Only real factor is the weight, not ideal when in your ruck sack but you do get used to it after a while.
