Merino Wool Walking Hiking Socks Warm Thermal Thick Cushioned Moisture Wicking Outdoor Boot Socks for Men and Women

I bought these 5 pairs of wool socks thinking I was taking a big risk but they have proved fantastic and very warm. Tight fit around the toes and the heel so they don’t wander when you put the boot on; no seams in the wrong places. Really comfy just to wear around the house; dry very quickly after washing. I was initially worried about a slight movement back and forth whilst walking on the carpet - as if there were two layers. But once booted up, they have proved super-comfortable and may even be preventing blistering. Anyway, worth a try at £4 a pair

I compared this pack with some Danish Endurance (DE) socks I have and they come out of it very well. Firstly the fitment is snug but not tight on my size 10 feet, the DE's are tighter because of the tighter weave. They are a little lighter than the DE's bit not by much. The quality of stiching etc is comparable between the two and the warmth is the same. These have a instep stretch bit which is good and are sold with a higher merino wool content than the DE's which is difficult to check. I wear mine generally and always for dog walking and golf; if you were a serious hiker etc then probably these socks would not be suitable. So an all round a quality sock, in great colours and way cheaper than other well known brands which have washed up ok and have retained their shape after 2-3 washes.

What lovely comfy and warm socks, wash really easily no shrinkage. I wear these daily now and they are my go to daily socks. The look smart too!!

I am a size 5 with very narrow feet. These socks are great quality, lovely colours, stay up well and have a slightly tighter band around the middle of the foot which helps to keep the socks in place. The only slight downside is that the front of the sock is quite bit and baggy, it maybe just my feet though! I would recommend as they are good value for money.

Soft and wash very well. Colours very precise too compared to the ad. A bit shorter than the picture but maybe just stretched on a larger calf.

Excellent value for merino wool socks (70% wool so description says). Use them for outdoor work under a bigger work sock. They keep my feet warm. Wish I'd bought wool socks years ago

These are soft and comfortable for day hikes but for longer durations they aren't as good as merino socks I've owned in the past. It is common to have to wear a pair of socks for two days in a row on multi-day hikes. My previous merino socks could do this with little smell or discomfort. These socks however start to smell awful very quickly (probably due to low quality fibres) and become matted and uncomfortable to wear.

Just enough wool to keep your toes warm on the on cold mornings at work or walking your dogs. Think construction so not too thick.

So far they're pretty warm I wear uninsulated boots at work because I'm in and out of the cold often and my feet will sweat and freeze if they're too warm but these do a really good job of keeping me warm even if I sweat a bit. Only downside that I might see is you need to handwash these but that parts a fairly simple trade to have warm feet in the winter. Also very comfortable.
