Easy to take.
These tablets are so much easier to use than the powder. For me they work well, as long as plenty of water is drunk when taking the tablets and throughout the day.

Works as it should - each is 750mg
Aids digestion and good price. Quite large capsules so you’ll need a good glass of water to get down. The 2250mg dose label on the bottle is the DAILY recommended maximum and NOT the amount of psyllium per capsule. Each capsule is 750mg so I take two a day totalling 1500mg. Dosage per capsule is not clear until you work it out from the label.

Convenient if pricey way to get fibre into your diet
The benefits of psylium husk can easily be researched online, so I won't bore you with that, given that you're reading this I would assume you already have a good idea of these benefits anyway! So onto the actual product on offer here, without going in to gory detail, they most definitely work as a fibre supplement. The difference here is that you are getting capsule form, now if you've ever tried consuming psylium in its usual dry form as a powder or just husks then you'll know that you have to mix this with water before consuming, which is fine, cleaning up after though can be messy as any remnants left in your drinking vessel or on the spoon you used to mix with can get stuck to the surfaces of the utensils and are hard to wash off easily, even worse if you delay and have to wash off the hardened remains! This is where the capsule form here is convenient, no clean up required.Apart from this convenience, performance is the same, therefore the only consideration is price, if you're willing to pay the extra for convenience then these are ideal. Otherwise stick to the usual form and save a few pounds.

Smell and taste a bit unpleasant, and capsules are large so may be difficult to swallow for some
Quite a large capsule, measuring in at 23mm long and 8mm wide, so if you struggle swallowing pills then these may not be for you. They do have an unpleasant smell and taste, which I find a bit off-putting. Daily dose of three capsules provides 2.25g fibre, compared to the sachets of orange flavoured powder you mix with water providing 2.6g per sachet, so these offer less fibre. A box of those 30 sachets costs around £4.50 on Amazon, these are around £10 for 40 days supply so pretty expensive in comparison, however these are easy to administer as a capsule rather than faffing about mixing the sachets with water to take.
