Product Description This year the World Rally Championship rules have changed, and the cars in which the drivers compete are more powerful and more aggressive. Their new characteristics, enhanced by astonishing aerodynamics and improved handling, will make the rallies even more spectacular. This surge of power experienced while steering and driving with the controller will never have felt so real. Aggressive, loud and nimble, the WRC 7 cars represent a new challenge for players, who will face off against each other to gain crucial tenths of a second on the Tarmac, dirt and snow of the 13 rallies in the WRC. Players will have the chance to play as their favourite WRC drivers and cars from the 2017 season, including Sebastien Ogier (Ford Fiesta WRC), Kris Meeke (Citroen C3 WRC) or Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota Yaris WRC).The Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC is a 380hp version of the road car, able to reach 60mph in less than 4 seconds. For Hyundai Motorsport, the three-door Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC represents the team's third new car since its debut in the Championship back in 2014. Box Contains 1 Game Disc

Rally racing got real..
Not a bad game but I find it a bit harder to control the cars than the previous releases. Graphics are good too. Well worth the money if you get it as a discounted price.

Lacks incentive. Unpolished. Lacklustre.
Downloaded this game for a significantly discounted price (approx. £6) last week and I was disappointed even at that figure. Apart from a quick dabble on WRC5 (which is meh) it's the first WRC title I've played since my favourite edition, WRC3, and yeah, I'm not impressed. My first gripe is with the career mode. You start off at the lowest level with the Junior WRC but unlike the higher levels you cannot alter the car settings which makes the car feel like a donkey on an ice rink on some of the tracks. Not fun at all. Then there's the option to create your own championship which is fine but the difficulty spike isn't user friendly. The "easy" level is just too easy and the next level "medium" is very hard. In WRC3 the difficulty scale ranged from 1-10 meaning it gave the player more scope to play at their correct level, but of course the franchise has changed developers since then. No records of rally times either which should be a given for a game of this ilk.Yes, WRC7 falls way short, although once the car settings are tinkered with, the game can create that exhilarating feel when driving but it just isn't enough to warrant spending much money on really.
