Beautiful costume, BAD seams
I wore this for an office Halloween costume contest. I work at a call center, taking calls, occasionally getting up to fax something, but absolutely nothing strenuous or taxing physically. With that in mind here is my review for this dress.....The dress itself is gorgeous! The color, sparkles, etc are all just fabulous! It did come in a nice dress bag but PLEASE take it out of the bag ASAP and hang it up as it is one hot wrinkled MESS right out of the bag and will need a day (or 3) to let the wrinkles hang out. I suggest putting it in the bathroom while you take a shower so the steam will help loosen up those wrinkles a little. I ended up having to spray it with Febreeze Wrinkle Releaser and toss it in the dryer on delicate, low heat for about 5 mins. That really did the trick! But it was kind of risky so proceed at your own risk :)The fit of the dress was perfect. I usually wear a pretty solid size 2, sometimes a size 0, depending on the brand. I got the Small and I'm 5'4" and measure 34-26-36. It was very long but nothing a pair of 4 inch heels couldn't fix :)When I put the dress on at home before work, the "corset" area looked off symmetrically. So I just moved it around a little and figured most people wouldn't notice. (I'll try to post a pic). And when I got to work it was as I thought, no one noticed. I got sooooo many compliments on this dress because seriously, it really is gorgeous. So here I am at work feeling like a princess when rrriiiiipppppppp! What the .......?! Oh no! It's the side seam of my dress ripping open just below my rib cage. This happens about 10 mins before our big showdown costume contest where we have to get in a line and parade around the office for the party poopers that didn't dress up to judge our costumes and pick out the winner. So my wonderful lady coworkers swoop in and attempt to patch me up but the material is a little on the cheap side and has started to fray. We did all we could with what little we had and I marched in that parade proudly with my new and improved beautiful BIONIC princess dress with metal staples, paper clips, and a few safety pins holding me together :). Sadly, I didn't win but I understand. They just weren't yet ready for the new futuristic bionic approach to the classic Cinderella! All kidding aside, if you're going to wear this dress to an actual Halloween party, I HIGHLY suggest having the seams reinforced on the sides. If I can have mine repaired, I will get them reinforced and wear it again next year!Hope this helps :)

Beautiful Costume
I wore this costume for two very special events where everyone was dressed in disquise. My two little girls were also dressed as Cinderellas (the ballet dress type, not the usual long cinderella dresses) and my husband was a pirate :) This is not anything like the flimsy halloween costumes stores sell around halloween time. It seems from a higher quality than any of the costumes i own (and i have quite a collection). The fabric feels like it is the type used for a real dress from the renessance period and the design is just superb. The way it just hugs your body and fits was just amazing. I substituted the black choker for a set of white pearls and wore the dress with high heeled boots (so it wouldn't drag on the floor). I also put the hoop thing away as it was making it hard for me to fit between the kids and just wore the white petticoats that came with the dress. Those were enough to give it the bubble effect on the photo. There were people "oohing" and "wowing" and the kids at both events were just spining around me and asking me if i was the real "cinderella". And the moms wanted to take photos with me and their daughters. It was really sweet. I suppose that means this would be a good costume for a set up photo shoot with a princess. This costume could also be used for a birthday party if Cinderella wanted to make an appearance for a child's princess themed party. The kids would love it. It could probably be used for any event that is full of kids as this particular character (Cinderella) is so much loved by all little girls. I give this product a five star recommendation.

Soooooooo Beautiful!
This is by far one of the most beautiful gowns I have ever owned! The only downside, is I believe that the sizing is wrong. I am about a size 16 and I ordered an XL because the site claims that XL is for 16/18....no way! I will have to have the dress altered with a corset backing, which was a bummer. The sleeves are also very small, in fact the sleeves would be suited better for a Medium or Small. The Tiara does not do the dress justice, it is basically a simple plastic head band with Gold Sequins glued on, very tacky. So I bought a wedding Tiara to go with the gown. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, as it is good quality fabric and seems to be well made. The dress came within two days of ordering, and with the alterations I'm going to make, I'll be the "Belle of the Ball" as they say :) Oh one more thing, along with other people's comments, I have to add that yes it is extremely long, and I am a tall gal as my height is 5'11" and it still covers a lot of the floor. However this is just a simple hem to sole the problem and wouldn't cost that much to get hemmed. I would rather have it too long than too short, but that's just me.

I ordered the Extra Large and it fits great. Just needs a few tucks
After finding the actual fitting chart from the manufacturer in the details/questions section (the Amazon size chart is often inaccurate), I ordered the Extra Large and it fits great. Just needs a few tucks, darts and hem for a custom fit. I am 5"10" and weigh 160 lbs. I have a corset to create the perfect silhouette for this period costume. The corset gives a smooth fit and keeps stress off the dress's seams. Much better look than the lumps created by a strapless bra. The fabric is gorgeous. Above-the-elbow white gloves, choker and "tiara" were included. I have my own crystal tiara, necklace and earrings which will do this gown more justice. Can't wait to wear it our upcoming Disney cruise. The InCharacter Costume's quality is well worth the price. We tried three other brands and they were sad and funny at the same time. This is the one well worth the higher price. My 6'1" 200 lbs husband got the a size Large of the InCharacter Prince costume and it fits great. However, he has chosen to wear his dress slacks instead of the costume pants, because he wants pockets. He will wear a long sleeve T under the coat.

Absolutely gorgeous
Gorgeous! Looks exactly as picture, but the small is for a very short person, not based on weight. I recommend a medium for anyone 5’2” tall and over, the small should be for a woman about 5’0” tall and 120lbs or less.

Not as pictured! Terrible quality!!
ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!! Not at all as shown. The beautiful brocade described came as a cheap lace that looks terrible for the high price! Did not come with gloves or necklace? The tiara is also extremely cheap - you can better ones at the dollar store. I ordered my size as per the description and it sas much too large, which is the opposite of other reviews. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Will be returning asap. So disappointed.
