As beautiful as I’d hoped!
I must’ve viewed over 500 different wallpapers before selecting this one - seriously! I purchased it to line the interior back of my French curio, and, while the curio has yet to be hung on the wall, you can clearly view the paper in my photos.Given the number of wallpapers I’ve viewed, I now have a pretty good frame of reference for the cost of an average roll, which is why I can state that Amazon’s price is a pretty great deal. That said, don’t make the mistake of assuming that the low cost of the paper indicates that this paper is also of low quality, as is usually the case. To the contrary; this paper is nice and thick, not thin and flimsy, which made it easy to work with and gave a great finished appearance.Prior to purchasing, I myself wanted to get a more specific sense of the size of the pattern; I figure that other potential buyers might want the same, so I took measurements to share with you. My measurements are of the cameo and its frame; specifically, just outside the leaf border on the exterior edge of the frame: 7.5” wide by 11” tall. Hope that helps. It was challenging to cut out the design so that each cubby featured a floral cameo, but that’s to be expected, I think. Ultimately, the effect was so worth the effort! In fact, I have two other cabinets in different rooms of the house; I’ve now decided to line their backs, as well. There are so many ways to use wallpaper other than for walls. I’ve seen some simple tutorials online that show how a standard metal filing cabinet can be turned into stylish furniture with just the addition of wallpaper. Once I finish the two aforementioned cabinets, I’m going to rehab the clunky ol’ gray metal file cabinet in my home office with this gorgeous paper!P.S. I’m not clear on why the seller refers to this as “monogrammed” wallpaper, as a monogram strictly refers to a design with letters of the alphabet. I think the intended term is “cameo.” While the paper doesn’t quite meet the dictionary definition, as the design is not 3D, most people would refer to this as a cameo design. I advise editing the listing heading, but that’s just my $.02 cents!
