works great win 10, win 11, and linux mint. Great little modular bud, haven't had a problem with google, amazon, or microsoft websites. I do remove it when it's not in use, but hanging the cap would be optional if you want to keep it plugged in. light is rather bright. Best price, best value. Uses a pin or can use a pin. This is important if you're buying lots of cheap keys for family, some of the cheaper keys didn't support all functions like pin numbers. Has been reliable for weeks.

Work properly

I like the compactness. I can verify it works on operating systems Windows7 and UP. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars, i don't like that the light is ALWAYS on, and quite bright. I wish the light was off except for to blink when its expecting you to push the button. I ended up wrapping the outside with electrical tape. Two thinned strips. Top over to bottom, side over to other side. Like a crisscross. Now its black, and matches the laptop and i don't see that crazy bright light. It doesn't effect the pressing of the button.

I never used these and don't have them any more. Each package came with a large QR code sticker specific to it's respective [Yubikey] inside, stuck on outside of packaging, identifying on sticker, specific identification number scribed on enclosed key . I didn't check the QR code, didn't like the idea a QR code on outside of each package could be scanned for a specific [Yubikey], by anyone who didn't own the key. As the keys were never used by myself, (stolen) and I didn't scan the QR code, I can't give this product a reasonably fair stars rating. Key is USB-A thumb drive.

It works. It's hard to find a small footprint security key. This one does everything I need, but damn the light is bright. Not sure why they put one on there. Maybe some people need it which is cool, but I wish there was a way to dim it.

I wanted to get 2FA for Discord (to mod a friend's server, who's a game dev, and who's game is getting popular now), but I didn't want to deal with the hassle that is using a cellphone. Plugged this baby in, and the entire process was pretty effortless. Discord detected it properly immediately, asked me to make a pin for it, and it just works. Minor gripe about an always-on very-bright blue LED on the USB key though. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, but 4 star rating instead, since there's no option for that.

この製品はFIDOの認証を受けた立派な独立した製品です。 業界ではYubicoが確かに最大であり牽引者ですが、同じレベルの認証を受けた製品なら同じことができます。(指紋認証の必要性やUSB-C等他の形状への対応が必要なければ) 1つの企業に独占されずに競争が行われることは消費者にとって望ましいことです。 この製品の販売を行われているACS社は香港の企業ですが日本支社ができたことからも将来の日本語対応の改善が期待できます。(なお別途WebからDLするユーティリティだけはなぜか既に日本語に対応しています :-) 今回、以下のことが全て可能であることを確認しました。 ・Windows Helloにて用いPINとボタンタッチでのログインを確認 ・GitHub等、Webauthnに対応済みサービスへのPINとタッチでのログインを確認 ・GitLabにてログイン、コミット時のコード署名をPINとタッチで可能であることを確認 ・GitHubにてログイン、コミット時のコード署名をPINとタッチで可能であることを確認 なおYubikeyでは新しいファームウェアにてED25519への移行を進めているようです。残念ながらこの製品ではED25519は利用できずECDSAのみでした。主な違いは速さのみのようですが、できましたらこちらの製品でも新しいファームウェアにて対応して頂けたらと思います。 この製品は大手よりも安く購入可能であり、PasskeyやWebauthnの学習を始められるという方には安心してお勧めできます。U2F Level 1ですが多くの場合問題にならないと思います。

結局Yubikeyをスウェーデンから送ってもらって、そっちを使っています。セキュリティーに関わるものなので、パチモンはやっぱだめですね。
