Didn’t use it much, after 2 months, won’t charge and won’t turned on.

A fun little cat-shaped light.The 'shell' that makes up the cat shape is made of fairly soft rubber/plastic that's easily squished, so there's no chance of it breaking if it's dropped. The bottom however is hard plastic (as it contains all the lights, battery housing, connectors, etc.) which helps make it fairly bottom heavy and hard to tip over. Unfortunatly, this also means it's hard to turn the device on without popping the bottom out from the shell, and it can be a little tricky to get it back in.It takes three tripple A batteries (and I would recommend using a different brand than the ones they came with - the lights didn't last as long (as in less than a day), nor shine as bright as with some duracell ones I replaced them with), however if you have or can get 4.5V DC power from the mains, it can take that instead (though since the port for it is on the bottom, the light will need to be sat on a hole, or will be sitting at an angle to accomidate the jack).Two white LEDs, two red LEDs, two green LEDs, and two blue LEDs go in to create the lighting effects, which are controlled in part by the audio sensor/microphone. When it picks up audio, it changes mode - from light mode (pure white), to changing colour mode (each colour stays on for a few seconds before changing to the next), to single colour mode (it will stay on one colour until it picks up audio). I've found the audio sensor to have fairly unusual sensitivity - sometimes it seems to pick up fairly quiet sounds, and others it won't. It's meant to be there to detect the shell being tapped rather than external audio, but it can). What this means is that there are times when you might want a specific colour/setting, get to it, and have it change. Being able to 'lock' the light onto one colour or setting would have been nice.Thre's a slight delay in how often the light will change setting/colour (of about a second), regardless of how much noise you make.

Batteries supplies are rubbish, didn’t even last the night, so have since changed them for stronger ones which are better. Charging cable goes in the bottom of the unit so you cannot set it flat whilst charging. Would have been better on the side.Can have it on white or changing colours & it is bright. Grandchildren loved it.

really did like this little lamp lovely soft colours but broke after a few months. Not sure what has gone wrong with it, light wont come on any more.

This was a gift, and it was very well received. It s soft and cute.

Bought this thinking it would gradually fade from one color into the other, but the colors change from one to the next. The effect is more flashy than calming, so returning for a different style light.
