Manchester Mills Down Dreams Pillow Standard white

I have bought too many pillows in my lifetime so far. Down pillows are the softest, but they quickly lose their buoyancy and I can never get them to support my head properly. I'm a picky breather, so it really bothers me if my head is not positioned just right, and clear of obstructions. It doesn't work well for me if a pillow allows my head to sink too deep into it, covering part of my face. Fortunately, one of the nice features of down is that you can poke and prod it to assume a reasonable shape. Unfortunately, down doesn't retain this quality for long.I have also tried feathers instead of down, but they are always too lumpy and the sharp feather shafts always work their way through the fabric. Even using a second liner doesn't solve the lumpiness. Another thing about feather pillows is they tend to be heavy and too bulky for proper head position.So I eventually swore off down and feather pillows and tried many different brands of synthetic fill pillows that tried to mimic the comfort of down. They would generally be a compromise between softness, support, and durability. They would also tend to get hotter than down and eventually flatten out in a relatively short time.Like another reviewer, I also was first exposed to this pillow at a very nice hotel. I never experienced such a nice pillow before. So I made sure to order the right components to duplicate the hotel experience. I ordered queen (not king) pillows and also purchased some soft cotton inner sleeves, just like they use at the hotel. The combination of pillow, inner sleeve, and cotton pillowcase is perfect for me. Because the pillow is down everywhere that matters, it feels soft on my face. But because the core is made of feathers, I get much better support than a down pillow. That, in combination with the queen size and inner liner, allows me to maintain the buoyancy much better than a 100% down pillow (by the way, avoid king size if you want to prevent the pillow from going flat under your head). And last but not least, I am able to easily poke the pillow away from my nose when I lay my head on it, and the contents stays put without springing back to surround my face.So I've had my pillow for the better part of a year, and it has not broken down in terms of any of the aspects mentioned above. It continues to provide soft, smooth, reasonably firm, easily moldable support and I will not be trying any other brand of pillow again.

this is a very comfortable pillow and is the same brand found in Homewood Suites hotel chains, at a slightly more affordable price. However, this particular pillow is slightly (very slightly) less stuffed. I have slept on the pillow for at least a month and it is still comfortable but does slightly compress more than the pillows I used at the hotel after a month of use. Still loving it but disappointed after a month it is not quite as "fluffy" and holding its loft as well.

Pillow I purchased was king size. Securely packaged. Delivered quick. So soft and comfortable, plus you can shape it to your own comfort level. Ever since i bought this pillow i could sleep so much better. This reminds me of Hilton Hotel pillows-but better. Worth the price. Will be buying more. Thank you.......

Slept on this at the hotel. Bought it for myself. It’s amazing.Didn’t notice any smell. It fluffed up the same day I got it.FYI I’m multi position sleeper. And I use both memory foam and this. And when I’m on my back I rarely use pillows. I’ve slept on this pillow in almost every position and I can say, this best for people who sleep on their stomach and maybe I even back... but definitely not side sleepers.

It takes a few mins for your head/neck/mind to get used to this pillow. At least for me it’s everytime. However I know it’s worth the wait!!! I stayed at a nice hotel (Midtown Spring Hill Suites. Anchorage Alaska) and they had these pillows. I was way against them but the next morning I woke up feeling better. I’ve been super cheap on buying pillows my entire life! However This pillow is worth every penny!! I actually need to order another one for work. I’m a firefighter and the pillows I have suck. I bought one of those “my pillows” and thought it was great but that didn’t last long. It’s now a foot rest pillow. Lol

If you have ever slept with one of these pillows at a Hilton property, you will end up buying one for yourself. It seems to contain just the right mixture of stuff in the stuffing!!

Flat Stanley. I have slept on this brand before. Loved it. I think it was a standard. Maybe the standard size isn’t as flat. Good luck.

Excellent quality, first rate product! 4 star reflects slight lack of firmness that would make it ideal. Overall, very satisfied.

I had "experienced" this pillow at a very nice hotel and wanted it right away. It is flexible, squishy, and comfortable.
