Avoid: Very poorly designed that'll lead to early breakage.
I have a lot of experience with buying jump ropes, as jump rope is my favorite cardio exercise. This is one of the poorest ropes I've purchased in some time, I'm sad to say. On my first session I snapped one (at the handle, where the breakage point most often occurs with these ropes) side, and the other side was worn down enough to where it was going to go shortly after. It was basically a poorly designed handle. Either the diameter at the top seems too wide or the handles are simply too short (thinking possibly the latter, but I need to compare to my more favorable ropes), making you need to apply a lot more force to make the rope spin. To top it off, the rubber piece at the end is so obnoxiously difficult to remove (I actually couldn't get it off), I couldn't just resize the rope. This is going straight to the trash, and I'm just saddened by the fact I bought two extra. I should return these for the sake of how awful they are, but I'm not sure if it is worth the effort for 10 bucks. Please learn from my mistake, and don't buy these. If you want a better PVC rope, I suggest either the money rope from Rush Athletics (I think this one is slightly overpriced, but the handle is way better designed and lasts a fair bit longer because of it) or Rogue Fitness has one that's really good for less money than the aforementioned.

Nice
I can’t jump rope but bought it for exercising. It feels nice in your hand and I am 5’3” and it is the correct length. I would recommend this.

Eh...
It's a standard jump rope. I wanted to get a cost effective (a.k.a cheap) jump rope for working out. I wouldn't reccomend getting this brand of jump rope for the purposes of working out. It's entirely too light weight, which make it harder for the jump rope gain momentum. This would be good for a small child if you wanted to give them a cheap jump rope they can play with. I regret purchasing this product.

Good
Just as described. Works great for speed. Just keep it hung up to keep kinks out like other reviewers said. I've done that since I bought it and have had no problems. Good product, good price.I recommend Googling how to find the right sized jump rope for you before purchasing. I did that before buying this one since I've bought ones too long and too short in the past. This is perfect for my 5'2 1/2 height. If you're taller, I recommend getting a longer rope.

Product is not easily adjusted. The clips on the rope are almost impossible to remove/move. The cable is also made of a plastic that tends to hold any bent shape that it is stored in. This makes it much harder for athletic jump roping.Would be fine for kids and such though.

MY FAV JUMP ROPE
Best jump rope ever! I hate those ones with the bulky handles. This one is light weight and I use it in my HIIT workouts for a quick heart rate increase.

not what I wanted
I thought it was for adults but instead it is a child's plastic jump rope. I will give it away when I see on of my little cousins.

Simple
Just a basic rubbery jump rope. A little long at 5’6” so it can be wrapped one time around your hands but that’s easily manageable.

Only good for occasional use
Works fine if you're using it occasionally or for visiting kids, etc. No good if you use this every day. I began doing jump rope every day and after a month or so the rope broke. I went to a sports store and bought a high-quality professional jump rope for 30 bucks (only about 10 more). Don't waste your money.

handles broke off after an hour
The handles broke off after an hour. They sent me a replacement for free. I reinforced the handle with black tape. No licorice rope will last long on concrete, but these handles will break long before the contact point of the rope does.

Get what you pay for
It's cheap but it's fine for current purposes. Nothing to write home about. My hubby is 6'1" and it's "almost" too short for him. Buy a size a bit up if in doubt.
