These insect traps are a really good value. The package included 36 traps in assorted designs, and a cute mini shovel if you need help inserting the pointed bottom part in the dirt of your pot. Fungus gnats arrived in my home in a bag of potting soil, so it has been a challenge to eliminate them. These are definitely helping!

Works just as described. I wish I got pictures of my first couple sticky traps, they were completely covered in gnats…it’s been a few weeks of replacing the sticky traps and employing a few other eradicating measures, and these are still catching the remnants of the gnats. Will not fix your gnat problem if you have a more serious infestation. But it’s a great start, and maintenance item.

If you want a quick application, this mat not be the best product. They are so sticky that once you touch them, it's hard to push them in the soil and let go. Yes, it comes with a little tiny shovel but your fingers still stick to them....super sticky but they do catch little plant insects. Sometimes soil gets stuck to them too when trying to insert. Cute designs.

At first I was skeptical on whether or not these things would actually work but I noticed once I put new soil in my plant pots, they started to accumulate so many gnats. A problem I’ve never had before. So I happened to come across these when I was looking for some sort of solution here on Amazon. I gotta say, I’m impressed!! I have yet to replace them but I’ve had them in the pots for a few weeks now, and there are even more gnats on them. I say get them!!!

Got that problem? Look no further. Just buy these. I tried the "natural" remedies, but nothing compares to this deal! And you get so many stickies it's either going to cover your entire collection, or last several years. They never lose their stickiness, that is until they are completely covered with bugs lol. Be very careful to not get them stuck to your plant leaves. (Maybe a vegetable oil will get them off if that happens.) Will repurchase again when I need them, but hopefully that won't be for a long time!

Changing this product monthly on top of doing the diatomaceous earth super easy! I need to repot my plants so I hopefully will not need this product! You were still helpful and amazing and I appreciate you!

They probably won’t catch every gnat but they get a good amount of them. Not sure if they work on large flies.
