This is an excellent 'dog hammock' for protection of the back seat for canine passengers. It is an excellent fit for the rear seat in my Toyota Corolla and may work well in slightly larger car, but is probably too small for full protection in a really big vehicle.One desirable feature is the end flaps which do double duty of protecting the door panels in transit and also providing protection of seat sides and edges during loading of large dog making entrance under his own power without being lifted into car. The fabric is heavy duty. The seat belt slots allow easy attachment of restraints for canine safety in event of energetic maneuver or crash. I also find it useful for hauling cargo such as bags of groceries by preventing items from falling to the floor.It is quick and easy to reconfigure for the rear seat to be shared by a dog and a human - or, to be removed completely when the dog stays home and space is needed for extra human passengers. This system is much better than the one it has replaced, and, it cost less.

This fits the backseat of my 2018 Mazda CX5 perfectly. It completely covers the back of the seat, the seat and drops to the floor. The zippered panels at each end allow you to protect the door panels from scratching and it keeps the dog hair from falling down between the seat and the door. The zippers are easy to use and all work perfectly. The "up" side of the cover has just tactile enough to keep the dog hair from flying around, but smooth enough to easily brush or vacuum the hair away or shake out. The "under" side is just tactile enough to hang on to the leather seat without sticking to it. The craftsmanship is excellent and it looks really nice. I haven't washed the cover yet but I expect it to last for years. My dog likes it, too. I highly recommend this cover and would buy another one without hesitation.

QWell, I bought this May 30,2018 and thought I wrote a glowing review, but can't find it now. Anyway, I loved it, seemed so well made and strong and great fit. Well, while vacuuming it yesterday, found a 6 inch rip in the seam by the seat belt opening! I have one 75lb dog and it's torn already! Not happy! I plan on trying to sew it up if I canget a heavy duty needle. For now, put duct tape over it to keep it from ripping open even more.This manufacturer saw my bad review of the things that went wrong with the new car seat. They acknowledged there had been a few problems but had hopefully fixed them. They offered me a new car seat cover and I agreed. I have only been using it for a week but it seems very high quality. The seam that ripped before is now in a better location to avoid stress on it and the Velcro closings are made different and seem very secure. I will update the review after I use it for a longer time frame. But do respect this company for reaching out to me to solve my bad experience.

So easy to assemble and my puppy loves it! He likes to ride in the car with us, but we're always afraid he'll rip the leather seats. Not with this seat cover. Not only is it waterproof, making it good for animals or groceries, but it also appears to be very durable and versatile which makes it comparable to dog seat covers twice the price.Another feature I appreciate is the zippers. The dog seat cover can be unzipped on the sides and between the driver and passenger seats to allow a passenger to sit in the back with the dog comfortably while still allowing the seat cover to do its job.I will be using this often and I can't wait to come back with an update to how it is holding up.Pictured in a Darango

I like it! I was using a 32 inch travel crate to transport my 12 week old puppy and it was just so big and took up two seats. It also would slide across my seat when I made a sharp turn and my pup seemed really hot. I installed this seat cover today and used it in the hammock setup and my pup seemed pretty pleased. He was slightly confused at first because he was not in his crate and he could move around but after a couple minutes he had the ac blasting in his face and a big smile. The seat cover fit the back seat of my 2013 Nissan Murano pretty and the material seems strong enough for a growing puppy. Keeps his sharp claws from scratching up the leather seats and it also prevents him from chewing on the seatbelt buckle, door handles or leather seats. Great buy!

So, we bought the more expensive seat cover but in this case it does not appear we got what we paid for. The seat over is of ok quality, but the fabric isn't very heavy. More importantly the width is about 2" narrower than our rear seat (2018 Nissan Titan Truck). You can hang the flaps over the edges of the seat and still get ok coverage, but there is plenty of dog hair that can easily get through. Seat belt holes are a must, but they are universal fit. They are long openings closed with Velcro. Problem is that once you pull your seatbelts through the Velcro tends to open back up further than needed, once again creating a larger opening than needed and dog hair easily comes through. If you weren't using the seatbelt holes then maybe it would work much better? One final note, the loops that go over the headrests and secure the cover to the seat are actually too close together for our back seat. You can still use them, but they are stretched just about as far as possible and because of that the back piece can easily sag and ... you guessed it ... provide another opportunity for dog hair to get behind the seat cover.

So I've been having to take one of my cats to the vet on a weekly basis because she's being treated for an eye condition. So as she is getting used to the car rides, she's been getting out of her carrier and roaming. Cat hair was all over the seats and I turned to this seat cover to help. It is very easy to install and fits like a glove. It is sturdy and waterproof! I did manage to spill a bit of her water bowl and nothing soaked through. Easy to put away and easy to re-install. There is even a pocket for items such as snacks or toys. This is a must have for every pet parent!
