WARNING: Malicious Software Included!
â ď¸ WARNING: Malicious Software Included! â ď¸â 1/5If you only need basic NFC reading/writing (e.g., verifying NFC bags in your project), the ACR122U is a cheaper and simpler option.Do NOT download or install any software provided with this RFID scanner! The included file was flagged by multiple antivirus programs as containing Trojan malware (Wacatac and Susgen variants), which can compromise your system and steal personal information. After scanning the provided ZIP file, my security software identified it as a potential Trojan, known to allow unauthorized access, steal data, or install additional malware. If you have already downloaded or installed it, run a full malware scan immediately and remove any suspicious files.đ¨ Avoid this product unless you are 100% sure the software is clean! đ¨ The hardware itself may work, but the risk of infecting your computer makes this a dangerous purchase.Stay safeâDO NOT trust the software provided with this device!

Tried but failed
I have tried using this however it provides poor to no instructions . The instructions it came with do not provide a satisfactory result. I went to website and other outlets and am still waiting to hear from the manufacturer. Perhaps a tutorial on the product page could help with troubleshooting if possible.

Works Well | Quality is ok
This RFID Reader worked as described on my HP Laptop. I did not try it on my Macbook Air, however I will try it at a future time.I tried using RFID Key fobs, and PVC Cards. It recognized both flawlessly! The Quality and workmanship unfortunately are the shortcomings of this device. The RFID Reader feels very lightweight and made of cheap plastic. I am concerned about ability for this device to last over time. I used velcro to secure it to the work station so that it would not move.***JUST A NOTE***. This device does not include software for the reader to use in a table or app. You will need to create your own. That is to be expected however and certainly not a deal breaker.

Dual frequency to almost all your RFID and NFC card needs
This reader can work with the two most used frequencies for RFID NFC cards. Normally the 125KHz cards are used for simples RFID, with just a internal number (ID), and the 13.56MHz most used for the Mifare standard, so you will have NFC with data blocks to play with.So this is a one-device-for-all, better than manage two devices in your desk :)
